Hi… I’m Mani 🤍 I’m a one-year-old male Jindo mix, about 16kg, and I’ve been waiting to meet you—my forever family. My life kind of paused when I was just three months old. That’s when I ended up in a shelter. Cold metal bars, unfamiliar sounds… for a long time, that was my whole world. I lost my mom when I was very young. I don’t even know how I got there. All I know is that, with my small body, I was placed on the euthanasia list— before I ever got to know what a home, a family, or love really felt like. But here’s the surprising part. When I was finally rescued and stepped outside that place, I didn’t hold onto the fear. Instead, I discovered people. And I loved them. I wag my tail when I see you. I know how to ask for affection. I’m gentle with other dogs, taking my time, learning how to play— because honestly, I’m still figuring out how the world works. There’s a lot I don’t know yet. Living in a home. Having a family of my own. House training, walking on a leash, learning how to live together. Everything will be new for me. That’s why I’m looking for a family who will teach me, who won’t rush me, who will guide me with patience and love. If you become my very first family, I promise you this— with the deep loyalty Jindos are known for, I will stand by your side for the rest of my life and love you with my whole heart. 🏠 Currently in a Toronto foster homeHi… my name is Koon 🐾I’m a 1 year and 6 month old Jindo mix boy, about 15kg, with a strong body and an even bigger heart. People say I’m still at that age where I just want to run, play, and learn everything about the world—and they’re right. But my world started a little differently. I came to a shelter when I was just a tiny puppy, and for over a year, my days were spent in a small space. I didn’t get to explore much back then… but somehow, I never stopped believing that people are kind and the world is exciting.When I see humans, my tail starts wagging before I even realize it. I walk right up to say hello—I just can’t help myself. I love other dogs too, and I make friends easily. Being around others makes me feel happy and safe. About six months ago, something new began for me. I moved to a training center, where I started learning what “life” can be like. I’ve met lots of different people, learned rules, and practiced basic training. The trainers say I’m smart (I think so too 😉), and they always smile when I show them my cute side—which I have a lot of.But there’s one thing I’ve never had before… a real home. I don’t yet know what it’s like to rest in a cozy house, to have my own spot, to follow a daily routine with my family, or even to fully understand where to go potty. Everything about living in a home will be new to me.So if you’re thinking about becoming my family, I might need a little patience at first. I might be unsure, or make mistakes while I learn. But I promise—I love people, I love learning, and I really want to do well. If you guide me with kindness and consistency, I’ll try my very best to grow into the dog you can be proud of. If you take the time to show me the world from your side, I’ll give you something back that’s even bigger—my trust, my love, and my whole heart. Sia is a sweet 1-year-old male Jindo mix, weighing about 16 kilos, and the brother of Joonsoo. With his gentle nature and loving personality, Sia is a dog who quickly wins hearts. Sia loves humans and cuddles. He enjoys being close to people and happily soaks up affection whenever it’s offered. He is also excellent with other dogs and shows no food aggression. When he first arrived he was very skinny, so he can still eat quite quickly — a habit from the time when meals were uncertain. As he settles into a stable home and routine, this usually improves. Like many rescue dogs, Sia has never lived inside a home before, so his future family will need to guide him through house training and daily routines. With gentle, calm training and consistency, he is expected to adapt well. He may also need some patient guidance to become fully comfortable walking on a leash. Sia can sometimes be a bit skittish around men, but with kindness and time he learns to trust. He is generally a quiet dog and rarely barks, though as a true Jindo he may alert his family if someone knocks on the door or rings the bell. He has balanced energy — happy to be active and explore outside on walks, but calm and relaxed once back at home. Sia would thrive with a patient, gentle family who can help him build confidence and show him that the world is a safe place. Weighing approximately 16 kg, he has the typical appearance of a Jindo, with an attractive face and an incredibly handsome appearance. As a puppy, Bruno was rescued in a severely malnourished and emaciated state after suffering from abuse and neglect. His condition was truly heartbreaking. However, with consistent love and care, he has transformed into a strong and healthy dog. Despite his difficult past, Bruno has never lost his cheerful spirit or his love for people. He enjoys human touch and often approaches people, seeking affection. He has little to no wariness of strangers, making him an open and friendly dog who quickly approaches people he has never met before.He generally gets along well with other dogs. However, he tends to play a little rough, particularly with his smaller friends. This behavior likely stems from his lack of proper socialization as a puppy. Due to his painful early life, he never had the chance to learn how to interact properly with other dogs. Bruno is now staying at a training center, where he is improving his social skills through daily interactions with various dogs. However, as he bonds deeply with his adopter and develops a strong sense of attachment, his love for people could manifest as jealousy or a protective instinct and this may lead to conflicts with other dogs. This is not because he has an aggressive nature, but rather because he loves people so much. Therefore, his adopter must provide clear and consistent training so that Bruno can continue to improve and grow into a great companion.Currently, Bruno goes outside for bathroom breaks three times a day and enjoys running freely with other dogs in the exercise yard. However, after adoption, he may have accidents due to environmental changes and adjustment periods. Once he becomes familiar with his new home, he should quickly adapt to an outdoor potty routine again. Bruno’s striking appearance is undeniable, but what truly makes him special is his warm heart and bright energy. He has overcome past hardships and grown into a strong, happy dog. Hi, I'm Hoya. 💛🐾 My name is Hoya, and I'm a 2-year-old girl weighing about 10 kg. When we first meet, I might seem a little quiet and shy. I like to take my time getting to know new people. But if you're patient with me, you'll discover that I'm actually a sweet, affectionate girl who loves to share gentle cuddles and quiet moments with the people I trust. Before I was rescued, I arrived at a municipal shelter with a fractured back leg. Thankfully, it healed beautifully on its own, and the veterinarian confirmed that I didn't need surgery. Today, I live a happy, active life—I enjoy my walks, play with my dog friends, and don't let my past slow me down. One of my favorite things in the world is making dog friends! I get along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and love having companions to play with. If you already have a friendly dog at home, I think we'd have so much fun together. I'd also be perfectly happy as your one and only, as long as I have a family who loves me. I love people too, but I don't rush into new friendships. I can be a little cautious around strangers, especially adult men I've never met before. Please don't take it personally—I just need a little time to feel safe. Once I know you're kind, I'll choose to come to you on my own, and before long you'll see my affectionate, loving personality shine through. Walks are one of my favorite parts of the day. I don't pull much on the leash and naturally enjoy walking at my person's pace. Loud traffic, fluttering signs, and other everyday sights don't bother me very much. Even when I spot birds or small animals, I'm usually more curious than excited. I'm also a very easy companion to live with. I rarely bark, I'm comfortable riding in the car, and I'm calm and cooperative during vet visits. I take my medication without a fuss and I'm not a picky eater either. I'm quite independent, too. If my family leaves the room, I may whine softly for a moment, but I settle down quickly and wait patiently. I've even stayed home alone for a few hours without any problems. There are still a few things I'd love to learn with my forever family. I haven't had much training yet, so commands like "sit," "down," and "paw" will all be new adventures for us. When I first arrive in a new home, I may have a few potty accidents while I'm adjusting, but once I understand that it's my home, I settle into a reliable outdoor potty routine. If I had to describe myself in just a few words, I'd say I'm… Gentle. Kind. Loyal. A friend to everyone I love. I may need a little time to settle into my new life, but if you can be patient and love me for who I am, I promise I'll reward you with unwavering trust and a lifetime of quiet companionship. I've already overcome the hardest chapter of my life. Maybe the happiest chapter… is the one we'll write together. 💛
