🏠Currently in a Toronto foster home Hi, I’m Max. 🐾 I’m an 8-month-old Jindo mix boy, weighing around 9kg (about 20 lbs). Right now, I’m learning what it means to be without my mom and siblings for the very first time. Everything is new, a little scary… but I’m doing my best to be brave. 🧡 A Gentle, Sensitive Soul I’ll be honest — I’m not the boldest pup in the shelter. I can be really shy, and when I meet strangers, I might bark loudly at first. It’s not because I’m angry — I’m just unsure and trying to protect myself in this big, confusing world. But here’s the thing: when I start to see the same faces every day, I slowly let my guard down. I start wagging my tail. I start following you with curious eyes. Give me a little time, and I’ll give you all the love I’ve been holding back. 🐕 Social with the Right Friends I get along well with other dogs around my size — we can play, learn, and grow together. Big dogs still make me nervous, but I’m working on building my confidence. If you have a friendly, balanced dog at home, I’d love that — I learn best by watching and following others. Honestly, I’d do better in a home with another dog, rather than being the only one. 🚶‍♂️ Baby Steps into the World Walks are still a bit overwhelming for me, so sometimes I stop and hesitate. I haven’t had many chances to explore the world yet, so I need someone who will move at my pace — slowly, gently, and with lots of encouragement. Every day, I get a little braver. And yep — I’m still working on potty training and other puppy basics. Hi, my name is Donny 🤍 I’m a female Jindo mix, I weigh about 18kg (40 lb), and I’m 3 years old. From the time I was very young, I lived tied up in front of a factory. I never got to leave that spot. I was just… there. A short leash. A few fixed steps I could take. And a space I had to protect—because no one else would. That factory wasn’t a playground or a place to rest. It was my entire world. A world where surviving was the only goal. I never learned how to meet people freely. I never learned how to make dog friends. My role was simple: guard my space, stay alive. Because of that life, I never had the chance to learn how to socialize with other dogs. When you grow up having to protect your space to survive, “other dogs” don’t feel like friends to play with. They can feel like something you must guard against. Not because you are aggressive— but because no one ever taught you another way. So if I seem uncomfortable around other dogs, please know this isn’t a flaw in my personality. It’s simply the mark of a life where I was never given the chance to learn. That’s why I’m looking for a home where I can be the only dog. A home where, for the first time, I don’t have to share love— but can receive it fully, completely, for the rest of my life. I spent so long tied up, never chosen, never held. Just once, I want to be someone’s everything. With people, I am incredibly gentle. Soft-hearted, affectionate, and full of sweet charm. I love human attention more than anything. Real home life is new to me. Even though I’m three years old, my heart is still like a puppy’s— playful, curious, and easily surprised by the world. I’ve had a bit of a rough start in life. I was rescued just in time before facing a very sad fate, and since then, I’ve been working really hard to become the best boy I can be. I grew up in a shelter with my puppy friends, and now I’m in training school where I’ve been learning all about how to connect with people and live happily in a home. And let me tell you—I absolutely love people! I mean it. I prefer spending time with humans way more than with other dogs. Sometimes, I might gently jump up to get your attention—it’s just my way of saying, “Please love me!” If you pet me or give me a hug, I’ll be the happiest pup in the world. I crave affection and love being your shadow. I’m also super smart and super food-motivated, so treats are a great way to help me learn. Training? Bring it on! That’s when I ended up in a shelter. Cold metal bars, unfamiliar sounds… for a long time, that was my whole world. I lost my mom when I was very young. I don’t even know how I got there. All I know is that, with my small body, I was placed on the euthanasia list— before I ever got to know what a home, a family, or love really felt like. But here’s the surprising part. When I was finally rescued and stepped outside that place, I didn’t hold onto the fear. Instead, I discovered people. And I loved them. I wag my tail when I see you. I know how to ask for affection. I’m gentle with other dogs, taking my time, learning how to play— because honestly, I’m still figuring out how the world works. There’s a lot I don’t know yet. Living in a home. Because of this difficult start, her social and emotional development is still a work in progress. However, this only makes her even more pure-hearted and in need of love and affection. Molly has a round face, short ears, and a soft, teddy bear-like appearance that makes her irresistibly adorable. She absolutely loves playing and gets along well with other dogs, enjoying running and playing together. Molly especially loves treats, which makes her highly motivated and responsive during training. Molly has a bright, sunny personality and approaches new people without much hesitation. She’s the kind of dog who will wag her tail and greet you warmly even if you’ve just met. Since she’s full of energy, Molly would thrive in a home with a big backyard or access to a dog park where she can run and play freely. She does well on walks but can be curious in new environments, sometimes pulling a bit on the leash. With consistent training and positive experiences, she will become a calm and confident walking companion. I weigh 17kg and have a cute, chubby body that makes me extra cuddly. 🥰 My story almost had a sad ending… I was in a shelter, facing a very scary fate, but luckily, I was rescued just in time! Now, I’m ready to start a new life filled with love, belly rubs, and endless tail wags. I’m a super friendly and affectionate pup! I trust humans completely and will happily wiggle up to strangers just to get some pets. I don’t just love people—I adore them! Whether you’re my human or someone I just met, I’ll be right there, ready to soak up all the love you’re willing to give. 💕 Big dogs, small dogs, boys, girls—I love them all! I enjoy playing, exploring, and goofing around with my furry friends. I’m not the type to pick fights; I just want to have fun and make friends everywhere I go!
