Meet RAGS! Sweet Rags is about 10 years young, 42 pounds, female, black scruffy mix. She is so sweet and a friendly gal! While she is older, Rags loves to get attention from her humans. Everyone she meets adores this sweet girl! She settles down nicely to hang out with her people. Rags has great house manners, including being housetrained. Poor Rags' owner, who adopted her almost 10 years ago and adores her, can no longer take care of her sweet dog! Rags was initially confused about the loss of her owner but has adjusted and is looking for her new home to hang out in her senior years! Although she is a senior, she still has pep in her step so much love and happiness to give to her new family for many years! Rags would love to curl up at your feet to hang out on a summer evening; she loves to cuddle and get pets! She is eager to find her person(s) to love! ***Please note that our first step is to fill out an application (it does not commit you in anyway but allows us to discuss with you if you and the dog are a good fit). In addition, an important step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies ), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Rags is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. As part of our Silver Paws Program, Rags has also had a senior exam. The adoption fee for this dog is $250 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and the general appearance of the animal at the time they enter our system. NEED FOSTER HOME FOR ONE OF THE MIXED PUPPIES FROM KIKKI'S STAR WARS LITTER!! Meet Hera, a loving, energetic companion looking for a foster or forever home. Hera is a charming dog with a heart full of loyalty and affection. She can be shy upon initially meeting someone, but adapts quickly. Once comfortable, her playful spirit and boundless energy shine through. Hera enjoys walks and is currently building confidence on leash. She has been fostered in a multi-animal home and gets along with other dogs very well. She sometimes needs a reminder to give the cats some space. She is potty trained as well as crate trained although she can be anxious when left alone at times. A calm, male companion would be ideal for her. Her foster home is currently working on basic training, including some tricks. She is very smart but can be stubborn. You will need some creativity to keep her engaged while training. Several short sessions as opposed to a long one. If you are looking for a devoted friend who will bring joy and enthusiasm into your life, Hera might be a match. Her lovable personality would ensure her becoming a cherished part of your family!!
