When rescuers first saw him, he was shivering in the corner of a cage, terrified of human touch. We couldn't give up on him, so he was rescued just in time to give him a second chance at life. 3️⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is very shy and takes a long time to open up to new people. Needs a patient family who can wait for him to feel safe. * With Dogs: Gets along very well with his friends at our center. * With Cats: Tends to chase them, so caution is required. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown because he currently lives in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Unknown, but he currently prefers outdoor potty breaks. * Walks: Showed great walking skills during his time at the training center. * Hygiene: Was very well-behaved during grooming and hygiene care at the training center. * Because he is fearful, he may try to nip if forced into something. A gentle approach is essential. * Absolutely loves treats! * Is still scared of human touch. Needs time to learn that hands are for love, not for fear.

Flinches when touched because he is unfamiliar with physical contact, but once he gets to know someone, he can be held and petted. ​* Interaction with Dogs: Gets along well with his roommate at the center. We plan to introduce him to more friends gradually. * ​Interaction with Cats: Has not encountered any cats yet. * ​Separation Anxiety: Stays calm by himself in his kennel. Once in a home environment, training will be needed from the start. * ​Potty Training: Currently uses indoor pads at the center. * ​Grooming/Hygiene: No experience with hygiene management (nail clips, bathing, etc.) yet. * ​Walking/Leash Training: Finds walks very unfamiliar and requires training. * ​Car Sickness: No signs of motion sickness during short-distance trips. * ​Biting/Mouthiness: Avoids contact and gets nervous, but does not show aggression. However, caution is needed as he may show defensive nipping if a stranger tries to grab him suddenly. * ​Barking: Hasn't shown any barking or whining. Training may be necessary once he transitions to a home. * ​Dislikes: Avoids people and feels uncomfortable in cornered situations or when someone tries to force physical contact. * ​Overall Personality: Is fearful and cautious. Needs a family that can take things slow and build trust over time.
