MEET GRIZZLY! Grizzly is a 6-year-old male Chow Chow mix in need of a foster or forever home. He is a sweet, gentle boy, who does well with other dogs and kids! Grizzly was rescued from a crowded California shelter, where he was impounded as a stray back in November 2024. Our rescue finally pulled him out in late February. Grizzly loves people and would do great with someone who works from home or is retired. He's a loving dog that deserves a loving home. He weighs 64 lbs. Please email for an application.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Hi, I'm Astro, a 8-year-old Chow/Lab mix. Don't let my serious face fool you, I'm a goofy sweet guy! I like to get to know my people slowly, but once I do I love your pets and scratches and I'll even sit in your lap! I'm very food motivated and guard my food and toys with growls and can be stubborn. I love to go for walks and walk well on a leash. I know lots of commands (sit, stay, up, down, lay down, shake, wait, let's go) and love performing for treats. I was recently in a foster home and here are some of my likes/dislikes that they shared about me… Like: food!, exercise/walks and agility, butt scratches, sleeping in my crate, chewing my toys, watching out the window, music, water, other dogs, comfy beds, getting baths Don't like: brushes, towels and loud trucks Astro would do best as the only dog in a house without kids or other small animals since he can be protective and is strong. He will need a family familiar with protection breeds like chows. Astro is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. His fee is $200.

story: Thank you for interested in adopting Buddy. Please know that Buddy is an international rescue. When your application is approved, you will need to pick him up from the airport - such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, ONT, IAH, etc. International adoption is not a complicated process and we've done the process many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. Buddy is not high in energy level and likes to take a slow walk, taking time to observe and sniff other things. When he was a puppy, he was small and weak and was bullied by his siblings. He gets nervous towards other dogs. He is not comfortable when the other dog tries to dominate and when the other dog has a young puppy energy so much that it can annoy others. However, once he becomes friendly with other dog, he gets along very well. He stayed in the shelter for a long time so he lacks socialization but he is gentle and careful once he decides to be a friend with the people and the dogs. Now, he is under socialization training. He has not met children yet but is generally calm and good with people. The foster believes buddy is calm and friendly with anyone and so can be with children. Buddy is nervous but stays calm in the crate. He behaves well when he is alone in home. He is under leash training. If he gets scared he just stops and refuses to move. When he gets scared during walks, he leans on the people next to him and depends on the person for protection. With something he has not eaten before, he doesn’t eat it right away. He rubs it on his body first. After he tries it one or two times, he doesn’t do it anymore. Lacking various experiences, he gets scared easily but is also good at overcoming them. When a report was received and rescuers arrived at the scene, she was wearing a tightly fastened collar and nursing her babies right on the roadside. Seeing how thin she was while nursing, her and her puppies’ health was a major concern, so they were rescued immediately. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Seems to have been hurt by people in the past, so it takes time for her to open up. When meeting someone one-on-one, she gets nervous and whines. However, she comes closer and gently accepts petting. * With Dogs: Really loves other dogs! Though a bit shy around overly enthusiastic new friends, she gets along well and plays happily with others. * With Cats: Showed no particular interest when encountering cats outdoors. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown due to currently staying at our center. * Potty Training: Goes potty outdoors at our center. * Hygiene: Is fine with baths, nail trimming, and brushing. * Walks: Still getting used to walking on a leash and is currently in training. Does not react to cats during walks. * Car Sickness: No motion sickness during short trips. 4⃣ Special Notes * Is a shy girl with limited experience around people, so she needs someone who will be patient and calm, allowing her to adjust at her own pace.
