Oh my gosh, are you here to read more about little ol’ me? Oh, where do I start! Well, I’m just a happy doggo trying to live my best life and match up with a new family. DAS is helping me search, isn’t that cool? We’re still getting to know each other, but I think we’re going to find me some great friends. I’ve let them know that I enjoy long walks on warm evenings, trying all kinds of new snacks, and chewing on doggie toys. Who doesn’t love those things? Speaking of snacks, I’ve heard that Dallas is an exciting doggie-friendly place for food enthusiasts! I’d love to check out a few patios some day with my new family. Does that sound like something you’d enjoy, too? I sure hope so… maybe you could click that “Adopt Me” button and we’ll get to know each other better!

Story
Hello there, I'm Little Bear. My days are filled with curiosity, sniffing out new scents and exploring my surroundings. I'm a senior, but my spirit is young. I'm a bit anxious, but I find comfort in the presence of kind humans. I'd love to have someone who's home most of the day. We could share quiet moments, maybe you reading a book and me dozing off by your side. We could explore the world together, one slow walk at a time. I would love a home that would be patient with me as I learn the ropes in my new home. I prefer the company of humans and would be best as an only dog. If you have a calm dog, I would need to meet them first to see if we are a good match. Come meet me any day noon to 6pm at 2400 Lone Star Drive.

Story
Lucy, named because she was 'On The Loose', is a young girl who is always ready to play. She is a 1-2 year old, 35-lb. Chow who loves to be loved and loves to be outside and give high fives. It may take a few minutes for her to warm up to a new person because she is always looking out for her providers. Only a few minutes though, because once she feels safe, she will be everyone's best friend.

Whether it is giving you a lick or rolling over for a belly rub, Lucy makes you feel like the most important person in the world. When it comes to other dogs, Lucy is always looking to play. She does not shy away from another pup, and may bring more action than some other dogs are looking for.
When she gets outside though, Lucy is always looking for action. Whether it is looking for squirrels in the trees or checking out the passers by, she is at her happiest when she is out and about. Because she is so curious when she is outside, she struggles a bit on the leash.

She thrives in an enclosed yard though as she feels free to explore all the sights and sounds that come her way. A house and crate trained pup, Lucy is ready to find her forever home and love on everyone in it.
