The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Chase Quick Pay via Zelle, PayPal, or cash. The shelter where Oz came from was asked by Chosun TV, one of Korea’s cable networks, to be a consultant for one of the programs called “Signal: for rescue” for one of its episodes that deal with exposing one of Korea’s illegally established dog meat butchers. Without their consent, though, the TV producers had 10 dogs (one pregnant at the time) rescued from the dog meat butcher resettle at their shelter. Oz is one of the puppies that was born after coming to their shelter. But she wasn’t spayed in time so she got pregnant at the shelter and gave birth to two dogs. Oz was not able to take proper care of either of them, the puppies were eventually taken to a foster home and now both of them live in the States, thanks to American rescues that wanted to take them in. Oz was left alone at the shelter in Korea, but the shelter said they didn’t have the connections or expertise to get these big rescues from the dog meat trade properly publicized for adoption. Oz was supposed to have been placed at a bigger organization in Korea, but the TV producers did not follow up, nor did they take responsibility for the 10 dog’s adoption afterwards. So we gladly said we would help the oh so beautiful Oz who is looking to find that very special home to cherish her as she should be adored. Oz was rescued by the amazing Korean rescue & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Korean rescue & we are so extremely grateful for what they do day in & day out for these babies & there is also such a great financial responsibility when rescuing these babies so we cannot begin to thank them enough. Oz was bought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. Talk about absolutely stunning, Miss Oz is such a beautiful girl. This poor girl was ganged up on in the shelter & had her ear bitten but for everything she has been through she is very forgiving & sweet. Oz has a lovely personality, she is warm, friendly & affectionate & oh my, does she love to eat. Some people at first she maybe nervous & hesitant of until she knows & trusts them, then she is good. She is good with men & woman once she knows them. Did we mention you can pick this beautiful girl up & she will let you carry her? She is doing well walking on her harness & leash but still would need work as she does sometimes stop with some people & not want to walk as she gets a little intimidated. She did end up having a foster home in Korea who worked with her on walks & going for runs & we think she would really enjoy a home who would be active with her. We don’t think she ever received this much love before but she radiates her appreciation with us. We do know she adores dogs, she loves them & she absolutely needs another dog or dogs in the home for her to play with, this is mandatory. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Oz & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. Oz’s new forever home must have a fully fenced backyard. Oz rides beautifully in the car & loves a good journey, so great in the car. But then she sometimes doesn’t want to get out of the car so we have to carry her out. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. Oz does not like crates & who could blame her. We are also looking for a forever home for Oz where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Oz is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her. Oz has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & does well. Oz needs to go to a forever home with another dog or dogs in the home, she really enjoys the company of other dogs & we currently have her with other dogs. This is mandatory along with a fully fenced backyard. Oz is roughly 44.6 lbs & has put on so much weight with us & oh my goodness does she love to eat. When we got her, she was skinny & you could see her ribs, those days are long gone. She is 1 year old & 3 months & perhaps a Jindo what she is mixed with we are not sure, female, she is spayed, had a dental/scale & polish, she is microchipped, up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Oz with bringing her to the US with her travel costs, her medical, her dental, boarding fees etc & bringing her to WA than her adoption fee covers. Oz has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but in Korea she used to chase the cats so a home with no cats is needed for Oz. But it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Oz was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Oz’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Oz potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Oz & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via WebEx due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Oz who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this special sweet little lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Oz has an adoption fee of $995 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.

The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Chase Quick Pay, PayPal, or cash. Beautiful Jiyong was born at Kong Kong shelter in Korea. He was lively & full of joy & happiness as a puppy, but sadly life at the shelter rendered him timid & scared. He spent all of the beginning of his life/time confined to a cage in the shelter which is extremely sad & heartbreaking, but alive. Unfortunately he was living in filth & a mass group setting where everyone was fed together. Another situation of survival of the fittest to eat. But thankfully he was rescued out of the shelter by a truly amazing rescuer & was put into a foster home in Korea where the real work began. It took his foster mum in Korea roughly 2 months to get Jiyong feeling comfortable with her & then started bonding with her. His foster mum did such a big turn around for Jiyong while in Korea but as it happens so often no one was willing to open their homes & hearts to Jiyong be his forever family & we were asked could we help him find his devoted forever home. Jiyong was rescued by the amazing Korean rescue & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Korean rescue & we are so extremely grateful for what they do day in & day out for these babies & there is also such a great financial responsibility when rescuing these babies so we cannot begin to thank them enough. Jiyong was bought back to the USA where he is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. What an absolutely brutal way for a puppy to start out his precious life in a shelter & start growing up there. Sometimes it’s just not fair. But that’s where that horrible story ends for him. His foster mum & dad said, we have been fostering Jiyong for nearly a year. He is a sweet, shy soul, and it's taken a long time for his personality to start to come out. He needs a forever home that is willing to be patient, loving, and consistent as he continues to become comfortable with family life. He absolutely loves to be outside, & will likely bond with his family on walks more than hanging out at home. He also loves to go the dog park, he's friendly & sociable with other dogs, & he loves the excuse to run his little heart out. He would do great in a home with other dogs, he's not been exposed to cats in his current foster home. In Korea he was exposed to cats & would chase them at first but once he knew the cat he would lose interest & just exist together. He's still shy and cautious at home. Sudden movements will send him scurrying, small children may be tricky for him in this regard. He also really does not like to be picked up, his family will have to build trust before he’ll accept being corralled like that. Despite his nervousness, he's not shown an ounce of aggression, either with dogs or people. He will timidly investigate friends when they visit, & receive a little pet, but any sharp movement and he's off to whatever space he deems safe. The shyness & anxiety have improved quite a bit over time, & will continue to improve, but he may always be something of a reserved dog. He really likes having his own safe space. He uses a dog bed in the living room and sleeps under our bed at night. He would likely do well with a cozy crate in the bedroom.  Outside of his exuberance when getting ready for a walk, he is relatively quiet, rarely showing signs of barking, though that may change as he gets more confident. He also has no trouble going in a crate, for example on car rides we use a crate for safety.  His health is great. He does have some sort of allergy which causes mostly his left eye to water a bit, however he does not mind receiving eye drops at all, and we've recently shifted his food to see if helps. He has a good appetite for meals, though he's still cautious about taking treats from our hands (unless it's steak or cheese!). Having seen him through one winter, his coat became thick and luxurious during the cold months, and he shed quite a bit for a few weeks in early spring. His coat is lovely. More than anything, Jiyong just wants to be safe. He clearly wants to hang out with our pack. As he gets more confident, your reward will be a happy, gentle, and inquisitive companion. Jiyong has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & does well. Jiyong needs to go to a forever home with another dog or dogs in the home, he really enjoys the company of other dogs & we currently have him with other dogs in his loving devoted foster home. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take him to places where there are other dogs. That will not work, another dog or dogs is mandatory along with a fully fenced backyard. Jiyong is roughly 25 lbs & is 4 years old & perhaps a jindo mix, what he is mixed with we are not sure. He is male, neutered, he had a dental/scale & polish along with 2 baby molars removed. He had a schirmer tear test, Intraocular Pressure - Tonometry test for his eye watering & was given antibiotics for his eye. He is microchipped, up to date on his shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Jiyong with bringing him to the US with his travel costs, his cargo fees, his medical, his dental scale & polish, his eye meds, eye test, boarding fees, food etc & bringing him to WA than his adoption fee covers. Another sweet mum who was left behind in Korea, but of course all of her babies were adopted. Dar-Lae, the loveliest fun soul now who had 6 puppies was taken to a kill shelter in Korea. We mean shack outside with a big heavy chain around her neck. She was found on the streets of Korea with her beautiful babies. That in itself is a miracle. While in the shelter she was such a good mum & looked after babies. But the sad reality was people wanted her babies & not her. Thankfully the wonderful Korean rescue went in & rescued Dar-Lae but unfortunately no one in Korea wanted to open up their hearts & home to Dar-Lae so here she is now ready to find that special home who is waiting for this little lady. Dar-Lae was rescued by the amazing Korean rescue & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Korean rescue & we are so extremely grateful for what they do day in & day out for these babies & there is also such a great financial responsibility when rescuing these babies so we cannot begin to thank them enough. Dar-Lae was bought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. It’s now Dar-Lae’s turn to be the one who gets the chance to find that amazing forever home. This little lady when you first meet her is a little shy & uncertain but once she knows & trusts you, you are good. She is the sweetest soul. She has been to hell & back & for everything that she has been through she is doing amazing. Her foster mum said she lets you pick her up, snuggle with her & hug her. She is the sweetest happiest girl you will have the pleasure of meeting. Her foster mum said she loves a good outfit & adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets & will want to sleep in bed with you along with the other dogs. She also said she is really good with being bathed & dried by the hairdryer & such a social butterfly. We don’t think she ever received this much love before but she radiates her appreciation with us. We have been working with her on her leash & harness & does really well considering but, she still would need continued work as this is all new to her. Dar-Lae loves to run & play & adores her dog friends so much. In the rescue her best friend is Dong-Baek. Her foster mum also said she enjoys sitting on the chair & looking out the window. Dar-Lae loves to eat, since she came into the rescue she has put on 2 lbs. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Dar-Lae & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. Dar-Lae’s new forever home must have a fully fenced backyard. She loves to chase her dog friends & foster siblings & play, play play once she is comfortable in her new home. It takes time for her to become comfortable but once she does she is the biggest sweetheart. She will paw at you & give you kisses once she knows you. She compassion & understanding of what she has been through. Dar-Lae rides well in the car & we are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. Dar-Lae does not like crates. We are also looking for a forever home for Dar-Lae where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Dar-Lae is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her. Poor Dar-Lae was adopted & returned 24 hours later due to no fault of her own. Dar-Lae has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & does well. Dar-Lae needs to go to a forever home with another dog or dogs in the home, she enjoys the company of other dogs & we currently have her with other dogs.
