Story
Chanel is a beautiful 1-year-old Chow mix with a sweet and gentle personality. She came to us after her owner was forced to surrender her due to an eviction, and now she's looking for a loving family to give her the fresh start she deserves. Chanel is good with other dogs and does well with kids. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, her affectionate and loving nature shines through. Having previously lived outdoors, Chanel will need some guidance as she adjusts to life as an indoor companion. Her new family should be prepared to work on leash training and house training, including potty training. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, Chanel has all the potential to become a wonderful family dog. If you're looking for a kind-hearted companion and are willing to help her learn the ropes of indoor living, Chanel may be the perfect match for you. Come meet this sweet girl and see if she's the missing piece of your family!

Story
Moe is a very good senior boy who is learning to be brave in the overcrowded shelter. He was a bit overwhelmed when he first arrived, but these days enjoys time out of his kennel with his volunteer friends and feeling the wind blow through his fluffy coat. He’s gone from not walking on leash to enjoying strolls in the park and has made great progress- but the shelter is no place for any dog, let alone a senior citizen like Moe. That’s where you come in! Moe shares his kennel with another PACC pup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Chow Chows are a deeply loyal breed- Moe is looking for a person to trust and to give his devotion in return. Ask to meet him today!
