She would do best as the only dog in the household and in a home with no children 10 years old or younger. As a senior pup, she has a few medical conditions that we would like to discuss with potential adopters to ensure the best fit. He can be a bit unsure at first when meeting new people and appreciates a gentle introduction to help him feel at ease. In the time he has spent in our care, Walterini has shown that he thrives with a patient approach and a predictable routine. He enjoys leisurely walks that include plenty of sniffing, and is a big fan of cheese. Walterini can be sensitive to certain types of handling, so he'll thrive best in a home without young children (under 8) where his boundaries can be respected. He is looking for a household that can offer him the steady encouragement he needs to build his confidence and share his affectionate nature as well as share his love for his favorite color: Green.
