Story
What my friends at OHS say about me: My name is Qistibi (though some of my favorite people also call me Glacier). I've been spending the last fwe months in a foster home, and I've grown into a confident, playful, affectionate dog! It can take me a little time to get comfortable with new people, but once I see that I can trust you, I'll show you why all the staff and volunteers love me.I love cuddling, zooming around the backyard, looking out the window with my dog sister and eating tasty treats! Things I don't like include scary vacuums, lawn mowers and other loud noises. I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted. To learn more about my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout. The type of home I'm looking for: I must go to a home with a fenced in yard and a low traffic neighborhood. It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process. Primary Color: White Weight: 86 Age: 8yrs 2mths 1wks

Story
What my friends at OHS say about me:I came from a special rescue case and have a lot to learn. The amazing staff and volunteers have been teaching me how to wear a collar, getting used to a leash, and what it means to be a human's best friend. I'm still learning how to be a companion dog. I may never be comfortable with a lot of change in my life, busy environments or dog parks. It will be important to spend a few weeks with me in a secure back yard before trying to introduce me to new places, people or things. I am at my best when I get a lot of support and do better with people I have built a trusting relationship with.If I become afraid or startled, I might try to bolt or may pull a leash out of your hands. The type of home I require: I must go to a home with a fully fenced yard. No apartments or busy neighborhoods.Everyone living in the household will need to meet prior to my adoption.I will need to meet any resident dogs first before going home with you.To learn more about, my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout. My adoption process: OHS has created a more in-depth adoption questionnaire, which can be accessed via the "Meet Me" button at the top of the profile.Once it is reviewed, you will receive an email with a link to schedule a phone consultation. After your consult, if it feels like a good match, your adoption counselor will schedule an in-person meet and greet and you will meet me with our volunteer and staff handlers. If you fall in love, you will have the option to come in and spend time with me to build a relationship prior to adopting! Primary Color: White Weight: 77.6 Age: 3yrs 2mths 1wks
