Story
Leena is a sweet dog that loves to chase birds and squirrels. My mother adopted her when she was about six months old and then was my late mother's companion for five years before I adopted her when my mom got ill. She has been a sweet addition to our family for the last three years or so. She is nine years old now and the vet says she has elevated liver enzymes and a high likelihood of developing diabetes. I was advised that I could put her down, but she shows zero signs of being unwell or uncomfortable. This is why I am pursuing rehoming. I am moving later this year and I cannot have a dog in my new living arrangements. She is a great guard dog in that she barks when someone knocks at the door or when we hear a weird noise around the house, but she is easy to quiet down and redirect when the person at the door is not a danger or the noise outside is just weather or a truck. I am moving to a city and I believe she would do best in the suburbs or in an area where she can run around.

Story
Behind those expressive eyes is a girl who eagerly craves affection, even if she is still learning that it's safe to ask for it . Precious isn't fearful—we suspect she was previously discouraged from seeking attention, so we are doing everything we can to assure her that love is always welcome . She will do best with a gentle family who offers soft pets at her pace until she realizes she can come ask whenever she wants! Since she sports a charming docked tail, she shows off her joy by putting her whole body into the absolute cutest, most contagious butt wiggles whenever she’s happy ! Believed to be a Cattle Lab mix born in January, Precious gets along wonderfully with people of all ages and dogs of all sizes . (Her feelings on cats remain a mystery for now !) She’s making great progress and will just need a little continued guidance with her potty, kennel, and leash training as she settles in . Precious comes spayed, microchipped, and almost completely caught up on her vaccines . With a warm home and a little encouragement, she is ready to blossom into your absolute best friend . Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If she fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours. Click HERE for the adoption application. ##2794821##

Story
Foster Notes:Danny was a former member of the SAFE family but unfortunately his mom`s health is declining and he is now on a search for a new forever home. Here is what Danny`s foster dad has to say about this little guy:Danny is a Schnoodle (Poodle-Schnauzer mix) about 32 lbs. of pure love and play. He is an awesome smallish dog that is house trained (if you have a doggie door), 6 years old, with a soft silver coat and a bit on the chunky side because he has a very healthy appetite. I promised the former owner to find the perfect family for Danny. A family that treats their dogs like children and not toys. Danny should have a K9 playmate and some kids would be nice too. Do you need a new bundle of love in your life? You may be the lucky family to give Danny a great new home and life.

Story
Meet Clay, a fun-loving young Lab mix born in December who is ready to bring endless joy and enthusiasm to your home! This sweet boy is bursting with happy energy and is always thrilled to greet new people and pup pals alike. Because his hellos can sometimes be a bit overly enthusiastic, Clay would thrive with a family ready to guide him with a few basic puppy manners. His dream setup includes a great backyard where he can put those glorious sniffing skills to the test on daily scent adventures! After an exciting day of play and exploring, Clay switches into pure relaxation mode, happily curling up next to his favorite humans as the ultimate couch potato for movie night. Clay is neutered, microchipped, and current vaccines, though we are currently unsure how he does with cats. If you are looking for a playful, affectionate companion to complete your family, Clay is ready to fill your days with positive enthusiasm and smiles! Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If he fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours. Click HERE for the adoption application. ##2659597##
