Story
Rigatoni is a 1.5 y/o F1B labradoodle who is thriving in foster care after a rough start to life. He came to me as a private owner surrender and had spent most of his early life outdoors with little exposure to the world or home life. When he arrived, everything was new, but his intelligence and resilience quickly stood out. Despite never having lived indoors before, Rigatoni learned potty training, leash walking, and household routines remarkably fast. He is a smart, affectionate boy who wants to do the right thing and bonds closely with his people. He has made huge progress and continues to gain confidence every day. Rigatoni is still working on feeling comfortable with new dogs and would do best with a patient, understanding adopter who can continue supporting his socialization. He would likely enjoy a calm, friendly canine companion and a structured home environment where he can keep building confidence. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready for a committed forever home.

Story
Rosie is a sweet, playful girl that does best as the only dog. She loves getting affection, sniffing around in the yard and also just lounging around. She is great with adults, kids, and just about anyone that wants to give her some rubs and/or a treat :) She is also a great protector--always paying attention to what is going on outside the house. Rosie is about 8 years old (we adopted her in 2018 and she was approximately 1.5 years old at that time). She has been a great companion, but our youngest son has a dog allergy so we would love to get her rehomed with an individual or a family that can give her the attention she deserves.

Story
Meet Jazz — Sweet, Athletic, and Ready for Her Forever Home Jazz is a beautiful 2 year-old Lab/Greyhound mix with a big heart and an active spirit. Rescued from a neglectful situation, she has proven to be resilient, loving, and eager to learn. Jazz is super sweet, loves to cuddle, and enjoys sleeping on the bed, curling up in a chair, or stretching out on the couch. She knows her basic commands, is house-trained, and clearly lets you know when she needs to go out. Jazz is prong-collar trained and walks nicely beside her handler. She is currently in professional training and is highly trainable—learning quickly, responding and thriving well to marker-based training. Because of her Greyhound heritage, Jazz needs an experienced handler and a secure 6-foot fenced yard where she can safely run. My current situation doesn’t allow that, which is why I’m committed to finding her the right home. Jazz will reward your time and effort with love, loyalty, and joy. Home visit required.

Story
Hello , my name is AXEL and I would like to tell you about myself I am a 3-year-old, neutered, miniature Parti-Poodle that means that I have a two-tone black and white coat and one-hundred percent poodle. I am up to date with all my vaccines, microchipped, heartworm and fecal negative, and I am on heartworm prevention. I have settled into foster care very well after my foster mom worked very hard to bring me out of being so shy. I am completely house trained and never crated. I sleep close to my foster mom, so I feel safe. I weigh about 24 pounds, and I am a picky eater. My foster mom discovered that I prefer dry food, topped with wet. My foster mom says that I am a very sweet and an extremely shy boy. I was rescued with 5 other poodles from a breeder who is moving and no longer going to breed poodles. Coastal Poodle Rescue is looking for a family who will give me plenty of room and a lot of time to adjust. I love to play with lots of toys and other dogs, and I have excellent recall. I would prefer a totally above ground fenced yard, but my foster mom says I walk well on a leash I get along well with other dogs; I`m also OK with cats; I ignore them. I would be OK with children, but I really need a human who can be at home with me most of the day. I really LOVE to play with toys! I will take all of them out of the toy box and put them in my bed. That way, I get them all to myself! If you wish to be considered for AXEL or any of our dogs, you are welcome to start the process by filling out an Adoption Application which can be found on our website at www.coastalpoodlerescue.org . On the homepage, click on `Adopt Now` on the right-hand side to access the online application. Be sure to answer EVERY question on the application. If a question does not apply to you, enter N/A. For phone numbers that do not apply to you, enter all zeros for the phone number. If you do not answer every question, you will not be able to submit your application. Please note that we only adopt to Florida residents because we require a home visit.
