Story
Rosie is a sweet, playful girl that does best as the only dog. She loves getting affection, sniffing around in the yard and also just lounging around. She is great with adults, kids, and just about anyone that wants to give her some rubs and/or a treat :) She is also a great protector--always paying attention to what is going on outside the house. Rosie is about 8 years old (we adopted her in 2018 and she was approximately 1.5 years old at that time). She has been a great companion, but our youngest son has a dog allergy so we would love to get her rehomed with an individual or a family that can give her the attention she deserves.

Story
Hello , my name is LANDON and boy, do I have a story to tell you. I was picked up on the streets in South Florida by animal control as a stray with no microchip, and no one claimed me. I was a real mess. I would share a picture, but it would make you cry like my foster mom did. I would love, love to be the only dog in your life so I get all the attention. I am about 4 years old, neutered, up to date with all my vaccines, heartworm and fecal negative, had a dental and I am on heartworm prevention. I have settled into foster care very well and love being in a home where I am loved and cared for. I am completely house trained, I have never been crated, and I sleep where I want, with my foster mom, on the couch or next to the bed on a rug. I do have a couple of quirks but they are easy to work around. I eat my bowl of food in about 2 seconds flat so please let me finish before you take my bowl away because I may growl if you try. I do not bite. Just tell me to stop and I will. Going to the vet is my least favorite thing to do. I am kind of sassy with the vet techs but if you leave me on the leash and walk me to where you want, I will be a good boy. I did go to a great trainer who said that no one has ever taught me manners. Just a subtle correction with the leash helps me understand what I am supposed to do. I need to be adopted by an experienced dog owner who will understand me and help me continue learning good manners. No first time dog owners please. My good traits include sitting on your lap, snuggling, and getting belly rubs. I will sit like a good boy to get a treat from you. I love car rides even though I bark at everyone who walks by. Tug of war is my favorite game. I like to go outside and patrol the yard to make sure there are no critters out there. My home needs to have a totally above ground fenced yard. I really want to be the only pet because I like all the attention. I have never been around children so no kids please. I started out in rough shape but the good folks at Coastal Poodle Rescue have made sure that I have had excellent vet care, great grooming and a loving foster home. Please give me a chance. If you meet me, you would see that I would be a perfect guy for you. If you wish to be considered for Landon or any of our dogs, you are welcome to start the process by filling out an Adoption Application which can be found on our website at www.coastalpoodlerescue.org . On the homepage, click on `Adopt Now` on the right hand side to access the online application. Be sure to answer EVERY question on the application. If a question does not apply to you, enter N/A. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Action Jackson – The Chill Companion You’ve Been Waiting For Despite his action-packed name, Action Jackson is more of a laid-back homebody than a thrill-seeker. This 9.5-year-old hound/lab/mutt mix is all about the simple pleasures—quiet afternoons, leisurely walks, and lounging with his people. Personality & Lifestyle Jackson is calm, polite, and dog-friendly. He enjoys meeting people and is great with older kids, though cats are still an unknown. He’s not the type to chase tennis balls for hours, but he will happily keep you company while you sip coffee or work in the garden. Training & Habits He’s crate trained, house-trained, and while he doesn’t know formal commands, his eagerness to please makes him a quick learner. He’s not overly treat-motivated but will happily accept the occasional canned food snack. The Perfect Match If you’re looking for a relaxed, loyal friend who values companionship over constant activity, Jackson could be your guy. He’s healthy, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Adoption Details Jackson is adoptable through The London Sanctuary.
