Story
Rigatoni is a 1.5 y/o F1B labradoodle who is thriving in foster care after a rough start to life. He came to me as a private owner surrender and had spent most of his early life outdoors with little exposure to the world or home life. When he arrived, everything was new, but his intelligence and resilience quickly stood out. Despite never having lived indoors before, Rigatoni learned potty training, leash walking, and household routines remarkably fast. He is a smart, affectionate boy who wants to do the right thing and bonds closely with his people. He has made huge progress and continues to gain confidence every day. Rigatoni is still working on feeling comfortable with new dogs and would do best with a patient, understanding adopter who can continue supporting his socialization. He would likely enjoy a calm, friendly canine companion and a structured home environment where he can keep building confidence. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready for a committed forever home.

Meet Maggie! 💕At just 10 months old, this adorable Lab/Boxer mix is still very much a puppy at heart — full of wiggles, zoomies, and endless love. Maggie was brought to H.A.L.O. after her previous owner realized her big puppy energy was just a little more than they could keep up with. But don’t worry — that energy just means she’s ready for fun!Maggie previously lived with another dog and did great, and she’s also done well during temperament testing with other dogs here at the shelter. She’s never lived with a cat before, but when introduced to one here, she was friendly — though she did seem to think a game of chase might be on the table. Slow introductions and supervision would be important in a feline home.She already knows how to sit (especially if treats are involved!) but could benefit from continued basic obedience training — she’s smart and eager, she just needs guidance and consistency. Maggie is crate trained and used to sleeping in her kennel at night in her previous home.Her absolute favorite things? Tennis balls, playing catch, fetch, and honestly anything that involves moving and having fun. If you’re looking for a hiking buddy, running partner, or a playful best friend to keep you active, Maggie is the one for you. When she’s not busy playing, she’s more than happy to shower you with puppy kisses.Maggie would thrive with an active family ready to embrace her zest for life and continue helping her grow into the amazing adult dog she’s destined to be. 💖Requirements: Martingale CollarAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.
