Story
What we know about Chelsea A004373: -3 yo - 45lbs - Female (spayed) - UTD on shots - On Flea/Tick Preventative - HW+ (easily treated by any vet) has done a round of doxycycline and on monthly preventative- Microchipped - Not cat friendly - Normal energy level - She knows a few basic commands - She LOVED getting to play with the toys during her shoot! Chelsea has been in a foster home for several weeks and we`ve learned a lot about her since then! Here is what her foster mom has to say about her:She’s a fantastic dog that deserves a home - she has so much love to give! She’s fully potty trained and crate trained (actually LOVES her crate). She loves people, especially kids. Walks very well on a leash - can walk at a good pace for miles, but also loves to snuggle on the couch, so a great balance of energy and chill. Very rarely barks. Rides well in the car, and takes treats gently. She loves to play with GCAS alum Hazel who is smaller than her, and tries very hard to get our 90lb bully to play with her but he’s just too slow ??. Her resource guarding of toys/food has significantly decreased over the past few weeks and it is only ever with respect to our dog, never us - a person can take a toy or food from her, reach into her crate, etc and she has zero issue with that. She’s smart and seems highly trainable. Not a door dasher. If you think Chelsea could be the perfect addition to your family, please call 912-554-7500, send an email animalservices@glynncounty-ga.gov, or visit 190 Carl Alexander Way, Brunswick, GA 31525.
