Story
Bode is 8.5 years and is very energetic. He gets excited easily— especially when anyone comes into the house. He barks at the doorbell and wants to greet visitors— too energetically for his size. He is great with me though. He was initially trained by positive pets — so knows commands. One issue: when walking him on leash, he gets excited and starts barking at other dogs on leash— especially white dogs. He has bolted/lunged causing me to drop the leash (I am not very strong). He then runs barking toward the other dog which scares everyone until I can get ahold of him. He has never bitten a dog or person. It is very upsetting to me and the others. A new strong owner would be good — one that can become the alpha. I fear it is too late for me. He is a beautiful dog and is very smart. He just can’t handle seeing other dogs when he is on leash. When unleashed with other dogs he runs around and plays with them. He is too big for small children.

Story
A very energetic and loving labradoodle. Gunner needs to be exercised daily and loves playing fetch. Makes a great running/walking partner. He is not crate trained unfortunately and will get into left out food when left unattended. However, he is house trained and knows basic commands like sit. Due to a baby on the way and starting a job that requires a lot of travel, I am unable to keep up with his energy level however. He does have a benign fatty lipomas on his back. It does not cause him any pain and the vet said it was purely cosmetic to remove, however can be done if that is something you are wanting down the road. He is already neutered and has no other health problems.
