Story
Merry is a 4 month old happy girl that loves to play and cuddle. She is around 15 lbs and we were told she is a mix of labradoodle and husky. We expect she will weigh 40-50 pounds when grown. She has blue eyes but her hair is thinner than the rest of the litter. Her coat will need to be maintained and her skin needs attention because it gets dry and is a little flaky. She loves being around people and will make a great companion. Everyday she currently runs out in the woods and stays on the trail with her foster dad and her siblings. She will need patience on her housetraining and puppy mouthing. Merry has been spayed, microchipped, vaccines including rabies, dewormer, and flea/heartworm preventatives. Her adoption fee is $300. ##2591045##

Meet Honey! This 1 year old labradoodle is a real sweetheart! Good with the dogs, cats, kids and infants in her foster home. She is an active girl who likes to play with other dogs. Honey is crate trained and potty trained. She is treat motivated and learns quickly. She knows the basic commands including playing dead. She is not much of a barker. She does not handle a kennel for more than a few hours (a blanket covering the entire kennel helps her to relax). Honey weighs 50 pounds. Honey is going through heartworm treatment which the rescue will pay for. The adopter must be able to get her to our veterinarian in Peoria, IL. Honey's adoption fee is $300 which cover her spay, microchip with registration, heartworm treatment, vaccines and flea & heartworm prevention. You can apply at gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/ ##2596402##

Scrappy entered our facility as an owner surrender, due to no faults of his own! He is very friendly, and gets along great with everyone! He is dog friendly, and seem quite friendly with cats. Scrappy also gets along well with older children. Scrappy is a young adult, and we have him listed as a lab / shepherd mix. He weighs roughly 54 pounds. Scrappy knows basic commands. (sit, shake, lay) Scrappy has been fully vetted. He has been neutered, made current on all legally required vaccinations. (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella) He has also been microchipped. Meet Shadow, this handsome boy entered our facility as an owner surrender, due to the original owners living situation. Shadow is a young, black lab. Currently weighing 61.5 lbs. Shadow does seem to get along well with some dogs. Though a home without cats be best for him. Shadow is fully potty trained, and also knows basic commands; sit, shake, and lay. Shadow would do best in a home with a fenced in yard giving him ample room to run. Stop in and meet him. Shadow has been fully vetted. He has been neutered, made current on all legally required vaccinations. (Rabies, Bordetella, DHPP) He has also received a microchip.
