Meet Chester
Chester is a fun-loving, affectionate young doodle mix with a playful spirit and an even bigger heart. At just 9 months old, he’s full of happy puppy energy and loves spending his days running and playing in the yard with his foster siblings. While he’s definitely an active boy, he also enjoys downtime and is always ready to snuggle up once playtime is over. A fenced yard where he can run, play, and explore would be a dream come true for this energetic young guy.
Chester is a true velcro dog who loves being close to his people and wants to be involved in everything you’re doing. He settled into his foster home very quickly and has a sweet, eager-to-please personality that makes him a joy to have around. He already knows some basic commands, is potty trained, and does well loose in the home. He crates easily when his foster is away, though he may cry a little at first.
Chester can be hesitant around men initially and may be vocal until he feels comfortable, but once he builds trust, he becomes happy and affectionate with them as well. He would benefit from continued socialization, training, and confidence building as he grows.
Chester gets along well with other dogs and absolutely loves having canine playmates. Like many young, energetic puppies, he can get a little enthusiastic during play, but he responds well to guidance and enjoys having friends to burn off energy with. He is good with kids, and has shown no food aggression or concerning behaviors in foster care. Chester sheds very little, but his coat will require regular brushing and occasional grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best.
This sweet boy is looking for a family or individual ready to continue helping him learn, grow, and thrive. With his loving personality, playful nature, and loyal heart, Chester is sure to make a wonderful companion.
Chester would do well in many different types of homes. While he'd happily soak up all of your attention as an only dog, he also enjoys having canine companions to play with and may love a home with another friendly dog. Like any young pup, he'll thrive with a family committed to continuing his training and helping him channel his playful energy into becoming the very best boy.

Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption. To apply to adopt from Just Giants Rescue fill out an online. All approved applications are good for 12 months. Meet and greets can be scheduled with approved adopters. All dogs adopted from Just Giants Rescue are up to date on vaccines (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Some exceptions may apply. All adoption fees are non-refundable; Just Giants is a NFP 501(c)3 organization.
Meet and greets can be scheduled with approved adopters.
Transportation from the foster home to the adopter is the responsibility of the adopter to coordinate. Just Giants does not adopt outside of the continental US.
