He is an 8 year old labradoodle. He is low shedding. He is a great dog as far as being so sweet, lovable and loyal. He is GREAT with kids! He is great with other dogs too. He is a great protector of your home. He doesn’t run off outside. He is pretty good on a leash. He knows basic dog commands. He does not get on furniture. He does well in the car and doesn’t get car sick. He is an anxious dog who needs a lot of time, attention and care. He is definitely most anxious when his humans are not around. Ideally, he needs someone who is home often and not gone at work all day. He is on daily anxiety medication that he has been on for eight years. He needs the medication daily and it is very inexpensive!

A chaotic, busy environment does seem to stress Hamilton somewhat, so a quiet home with a fenced yard would be best for him. This friendly and energetic boy has had quite the journey, arriving at Misty Eyes from an overcrowded shelter alongside his siblings. Although he was adopted as a puppy, life threw a curveball, and he found himself back in the care of our dedicated team—through no fault of his own! Now, in his foster home, Sammy is wagging his tail with delight as he polishes up his house manners, proving that practice makes paw-fect! Sammy adores going on walks and spending quality time with his foster family, ready to bring boundless happiness to a forever home. Although he is fine with most people, Sammy doesn`t appreciate other animals, so will need to be the only pet in the home. He would be a great fit for a country home with property where he can expend his energy. Say hello to Dottie! This adorable little Lab-mix puppy has the sweetest puppy-dog eyes and an even sweeter spirit. Dottie and her littermates were found abandoned in a cardboard box, but thankfully a kind Good Samaritan stepped in to help. While her siblings were successfully rehomed, Dottie’s first adoptive home wasn’t the right fit — their resident dog didn’t appreciate her playful puppy energy — so she was surrendered to Misty Eyes. Now Dottie is thriving in her foster home, where she’s learning what it means to be a well-mannered family companion. Like any puppy, she’ll need continued guidance, patience, and positive training — but she’s off to a great start and ready to bond with a family of her own. Dottie deserves a forever home that will embrace her playful spirit and help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.
