Story

Rehoming Our Labradoodle This sweet boy is 6 years old and has been with us for the past 5 years. We adopted him from a high-intake shelter in California—literally the day before he was slated for euthanasia—and he has been nothing but loving and loyal ever since. He is a deeply affectionate dog who forms strong bonds with his people. Because of this, he does experience separation anxiety and thrives in a home where someone is around often, can provide structure, and can offer the reassurance he needs. Mason is also deaf. Our family has recently suffered a major loss, and as much as it breaks our hearts, we can no longer give him the time, consistency, and emotional presence he needs to flourish. He deserves a home where he can feel secure, loved, and supported—ideally with someone who understands anxious dogs and wants a devoted companion by their side.
