Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he’s older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so important in this puppy’s life. Do you have the time? Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter, heart worm test if applicable) microchip, worming and flea/tick/heart worm (if applicable) preventatives. Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.

Got them together and they’re sisters and my primary choice would be working with a family that is willing take the both of them. Just like I previously said for lily I’m looking for a home with kids and lots of space. I’m willing to cover the next vaccination cost and provide a brand new grooming set for the lucky family 🥰🥰😍

He listens well, walks nicely on a leash, and is always happy to soak up attention and affection. He’s good with other dogs and kids, though his compatibility with cats is unknown. He’s is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and has tested negative for heart worm. Online Adoption Application › Smoky(also known as Elsa) Elsa is available as of April 2026.  After a year with her current people, they have made a request to return her to CARE. I asked for a description of what she was like now and they stated: "She is very skittish an scared of everything. She has recently been aggressive towards small dog (wife's dog). Loves children. House trained." Elsa got along very well with my terrier, Piper. She also got along with my other medium and large dog. Everything I wrote below is true for that time.  If you are looking to truly save a life of a girl who truly deserves a second chance with a loving family, Elsa's your girl!    I have changed Elsa's breed to include "Whippet".  This girl is a very fast runner!  I have never witnessed a full blooded Lab run anything like she does!  So she is a "Whipador"!  Elsa is a loving, beautiful, and energetic girl!  She loves to run and play with her foster family pups.  Elsa is  cautious and curious about new people and new situations. It takes time for her to warm up but once she does, she will be by your side at all times. She loves attention from her people!   This pup is smart!  She will  "sit" on command and "shake" with her paw!  Elsa has learned how to fetch a tennis ball and loves to do this! Elsa has also added "Shop Dog" to her resume!  I take her to the framing shop I work at and she has warmed up to everyone there.  They have won her trust with patience AND yummy treats!
