Story
Hi, I'm Jack! I'm an 11.5 yr old (mostly) Lab, looking to become part of a family and provide them with lots of love and companionship. My foster says I have a great personality and easy-going nature. I'm hoping to find a family that will provide a safe fenced yard for me to run around in, but I also enjoy long walks and do well on a leash. My foster will tell you how quiet I am, and while I don't like vacuum cleaners or the sound of lawn mowers, I'm not scared during thunderstorms or 4th of July fireworks. I do have to see my 'dog'tor a lot, but I am a really good patient! She calls me a lemon, but I just don’t see the resemblance to the yellow fruit. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to a lot of stuff, so I have to get allergy meds and shots, and I eat a special dog food. No matter how cute I make myself look, I do not get any treats, because my foster and 'dog'tor say they will make me itchy. I'm a really good boy for getting my paws wiped when I come inside, because the grass can make my feet itchy when my allergies are bad. Sometimes my ears get really uncomfortable and I have to get them checked, cleaned and medicated. I have had some painful infections in the past, so my ears can be sensitive. I'm housebroken and good about signaling when I need to go outside, but it would be great to have my own doggie door so I can go outside on my own. I’m embarrassed to say that I do have accidents on occasion; my old bladder can’t always hold it until I can get outside, so hard floors and puppy pads are my friends. I know and follow a few commands and I get along fine with kids, cats and kittens, but I'm not much for getting along with other dogs. Most important, I'm calm and loving and I very much like to snuggle! Even though I need a bit of extra help, I have more than enough love to give to make upfor it. My foster or 'dog'tor can tell you more about what I need to support me in my golden years. I'm one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. I look forward to meeting you and showing you how much love and companionship I have to offer! Story
Hi! I'm Bruno! I like everybody: other dogs, cats, kids - everyone! I'm a high-energy guy and will do best with a fenced yard, so I can have lots of opportunities to run, play and use up some of that energy. Long walks are great too, and I'm working on learning to walk on a leash. I’m at the perfect age for training and am an eager learner! I'm house trained, but you should know that if I'm left outside by myself, I'll bark. Also, I do have some food aggression and will growl if another animal gets close to my food, but otherwise, I get along great with all of my foster siblings! I'd say I'm an all-around great pup! I'm ready to help keep you active, and when we're all done working out, I LOVE to snuggle! Are you looking for an active cuddlebug? That's me!
