Story
Hi! I'm Bruno! I like everybody: other dogs, cats, kids - everyone! I'm a high-energy guy and will do best with a fenced yard, so I can have lots of opportunities to run, play and use up some of that energy. Long walks are great too, and I'm working on learning to walk on a leash. I’m at the perfect age for training and am an eager learner! I'm house trained, but you should know that if I'm left outside by myself, I'll bark. Also, I do have some food aggression and will growl if another animal gets close to my food, but otherwise, I get along great with all of my foster siblings! I'd say I'm an all-around great pup! I'm ready to help keep you active, and when we're all done working out, I LOVE to snuggle! Are you looking for an active cuddlebug? That's me! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out our application here: http://www.rchsks.org/our-animals/adopt-a-pet/adopting-a-dog. By filling out the application you are not committing yourself to adopting; it's a screening process that must be completed before you meet the dog. Please do this BEFORE calling. Our voicemail is only checked periodically and you can reach us much faster via dog-coordinators@rchsks.org. Thank you! Photos courtesy of Toccoa Cochrane: https://www.toccoabreez.com/

Story
Hi, I'm Jack! I'm an 11.5 yr old (mostly) Lab, looking to become part of a family and provide them with lots of love and companionship. My foster says I have a great personality and easy-going nature. I'm hoping to find a family that will provide a safe fenced yard for me to run around in, but I also enjoy long walks and do well on a leash. My foster will tell you how quiet I am, and while I don't like vacuum cleaners or the sound of lawn mowers, I'm not scared during thunderstorms or 4th of July fireworks. I do have to see my 'dog'tor a lot, but I am a really good patient! She calls me a lemon, but I just don’t see the resemblance to the yellow fruit. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to a lot of stuff, so I have to get allergy meds and shots, and I eat a special dog food. No matter how cute I make myself look, I do not get any treats, because my foster and 'dog'tor say they will make me itchy. I'm a really good boy for getting my paws wiped when I come inside, because the grass can make my feet itchy when my allergies are bad. Sometimes my ears get really uncomfortable and I have to get them checked, cleaned and medicated. I have had some painful infections in the past, so my ears can be sensitive. I'm housebroken and good about signaling when I need to go outside, but it would be great to have my own doggie door so I can go outside on my own. I’m embarrassed to say that I do have accidents on occasion; my old bladder can’t always hold it until I can get outside, so hard floors and puppy pads are my friends. I know and follow a few commands and I get along fine with kids, cats and kittens, but I'm not much for getting along with other dogs. Most important, I'm calm and loving and I very much like to snuggle! Even though I need a bit of extra help, I have more than enough love to give to make upfor it. My foster or 'dog'tor can tell you more about what I need to support me in my golden years. I'm one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. I look forward to meeting you and showing you how much love and companionship I have to offer! Sweet, single female. Loves to cuddle whenever and wherever. I'm happiest when I spend time with you. Let's make a date for movie night on the sofa, star gazing on a blanket outside, or a day at the beach with sun and sand. Give me a good belly rub and I will just melt. I'm not ashamed to kiss on the first date if I find the right person. I can't wait to meet you...see you soon!

Daisy came to us as an owner-surrender after her long time dad passed away. She was originally adopted from our program two years ago. Daisy has a sweet, playful temperament and would be suited for any home with older children. The only reason we don't recommend younger children is because she's extremely wiggly and doesn't know her own size! Come meet Daisy today! You'll fall in love!

Story
I am a little reserved and shy. It takes time for me to adapt to new situations, environments, and people. I'm looking for a patient family who will give me the opportunity to adjust to my new home. I would do best in a home that offers me encouragement and positive reinforcement; I may not be a good dog for young children because of my temperament. Make sure to bring the whole family in to meet me if you're interested. I can't wait to find the perfect family who will help me blossom! Give me treats and I will be your new best friend! From: owner surrenderWeight: 44Exercise: Moderate to high energyLarge/small Dogs: Please bring your dog in to meet with me to see how it goesChildren/strangers: Please bring the whole family in to meet with meCat: Ask an adoption Counselor about doing a cat test with me Primary Color: Brindle W/white Weight: 44 Age: 3yrs 1mths 1wks
