As much as it hurts, we are looking to rehome our sweet Bernie Mac.We adopted Bernie when he was a few months old after his previous owner had an unexpected litter. When we adopted him, we did not know his breed mix or how big he would get. He is a German Shepherd / Husky / Labradoodle mix.We have two small senior dogs, and as Bernie has grown into his energy, it has been a difficult adjustment for them. He is just a bit too active for our small-dog home.Bernie is not aggressive with other dogs, but he LOVES to play and gets very excited seeing them. He is very playful, energetic, and social.He is potty trained, crate-trained, up to date on shots, very smart, and highly trainable with consistency.We are more than willing to waive the adoption fee as long as he goes to a loving home that understands what it means to care for a young, energetic dog. Bernie is truly such a precious boy, and we just want him to find a home where he can thrive and be the happy dog he deserves to be. ❤️

** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE HOLD ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in. Mr Brownstone is about 9 months old and currently weighs about 40 lbs. Unfortunately, he came into a shelter as a stray so we have no back history, more will be known about me soon. FROM HIS FOSTER: Mr. Brownstone is a sweet dog with a lot of energy. He takes training extremely well and takes corrections from other animals very nicely. He knows sit and down and walks beautifully on the leash. He is a high energy goofball that is extremely affectionate and loving and always seeks pets. He mostly ignores cats and will back off when corrected by them. He doesn't always know where he is putting his paws around younger children and is clumsy. He would do best with older kids who would not get knocked over as easily. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org .
