Story
I inherited Baby when my longtime partner died in the summer of 2025. He had previously adopted her from a rural rescue organization. While Baby is affectionate, smart, and adaptable, she is really too large and strong for me to handle as an elderly, single woman. On the positive side, Baby loves all people and especially children. She is comfortable indoors and out. She has adapted to my small house and fenced yard, but she previously ranged freely with my ranching partner. She meets other dogs well and is still playful. She was an adult when he rescued her, and I estimate her age to be about 5 or six.On the negative side, she has a strange aversion to large commercial trucks. She is very strong and can be difficult to walk. She sheds.Baby is a happy dog, and I love her, but I worry that she would be happier with a family that can give her a fuller life. Her love of children is really her defining characterization, and she is probably missing that here with us.

We initially fostered both dogs went original owner was arrested for DUI but he never came to claim them and went from fostering to actual ownership of the dogs. We are about to be evicted from the apartments we live in by Monday I need to find a good home for both dogs since they are actually brothers. No charge of any kind for the dogs. They are 100% free of charge. Just need to find a good home as soon as possible before or on Monday. But apparently the site I guess has to have a fee so just one dollar would be good enough.
