Story
Hi, I’m Marlow! I’m a female puppy with the shiniest black coat, the softest floppy ears, and eyes that will melt your heart.  My perfect day:   Play time - I’m VERY playful! Toss a toy, chase a butterfly, explore the grass… I’m 100% in. I love being outside sniffing every blade of grass and doing zoomies in the yard.  Cuddle time - Then it’s straight into your lap for the sweetest cuddles. Play hard, love harder is my motto Looking for:   A family who loves playtime AND couch time. If you’ve got a fenced yard for me to explore + a lap for me to nap on, I’m your girl! I’m great with kids, other dogs, and anyone who wants a shadow with 4 legs. Apply to meet Marlow today - this little girl is ready  to be  in your home ##2787741##

Story
Hi, I’m Mango Don’t let my size fool you - I’m not even 4lbs yet, but I’ve got a heart big enough for the whole world   Mom is a Labradoodle, dad’s a mystery, but I got all the best parts: a soft black coat, floppy ears, and eyes that say “please love me forever”. I’m tiny, sweet, cuddly, and playful - basically the perfect pocket-sized best friend About me: Cuddles: Professional lap dog in training. I melt into you and stay there. I live for snuggles and gentle pets. Play: I’ll chase a toy, then fall asleep mid-play because life is exhausting when you’re this cute   Size: I’ll stay “carry-me-home” size but still be sturdy enough for adventures Vibe: Sweet Labradoodle personality = smart, people-pleasing, and Velcro dog energy. I follow you room to room because your lap is my favorite place ##2792269##

Story
This is Raja. He is a rescue, and is about 3-4 years old. I found him at Lake Hefner at the end of December 2024. He was matted and very lethargic. Though in addition to these physical traits, he also came with behaviors. He is reactive to other dogs, and sometimes to humans as well. I am trying to find him a new home because my apartment complex will no longer allow him to stay here because of his behaviors.... However, please understand that he is a very good boy at home, and I want him to be with someone who does not live with other pets, and maybe, without anyone else. He needs a new owner who can give him the quality attention that he needs. Raja is crate trained. I have him groomed about once a month and shaved twice a year. He will come with a large bed and crate. He loves hugs, watching TV, and going on road trips. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out.

Story
Meet Duke Elliot Duke Elliot is a 3.5-year-old Labrador Retriever mix with a fun-loving spirit and a heart full of affection. Weighing about 55 pounds, he’s the perfect size for both adventure and cuddles. Duke is a friendly, well-rounded pup who gets along great with kids and other dogs, making him a wonderful addition to many types of families. He absolutely loves being outside, whether it’s exploring, playing, or just soaking up the fresh air. Some of Duke’s favorite things include giving gentle hugs, going for car rides, and playing with every toy he can get his paws on. His playful and affectionate personality makes him an instant favorite wherever he goes. He’s also got great manners—Duke is crate trained, potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash, which makes him an easy companion both at home and on the go. Duke Elliot is ready to find a forever family who will include him in their adventures and give him all the love he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun, and affectionate best friend, Duke might just be your perfect match. Interested in becoming a forever home for Duke? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
Meet Ruby! Ruby is a 3-year-old, 60 lb Lab/Cattle Dog mix who’s as sweet as she is striking. As a puppy, Ruby battled a condition called strangles, which left some scarring on her face—but we think it only adds character to her beautiful smile! It doesn’t cause her any pain, and she’s just as healthy and happy as any other pup. Ruby is house and kennel trained, and she actually enjoys the comfort of her kennel when her people are away. She loves going on walks and is doing great learning her leash manners. She’s unbothered by other dogs when out and about, preferring to focus on exploring all the new smells! When she’s home, Ruby loves toys of every kind—chew bones, Kongs filled with treats, stuffed toys—you name it, she’ll play with it. She also loves to be close to her people, whether that means curling up next to you on the couch or laying quietly nearby. Ruby is still learning about the world and gaining confidence. She can get anxious or overstimulated in new situations, and sometimes expresses that excitement by jumping up near her person—she’s working on learning better ways to channel that energy. Ruby has done well with one calm, playful dog friend and would likely thrive in a home with a confident medium-to-large dog who enjoys playtime but isn’t pushy. She’s not the best fit for homes with small pets or young children. A professional trainer who evaluated Ruby described her as “a happy-go-lucky, people-friendly dog with a big personality and a playful nature.” She bonds easily with humans, settles nicely in her kennel, and shows great potential once her anxiety is managed. With the right environment and consistent training, Ruby has the potential to thrive and needs a person or family who is willing to commit to 3–6 months of structured work to help her reduce reactivity, manage anxiety, and learn boundaries. Ruby would do best in: -A calm, adult-only home -With an experienced adopter who’s familiar with anxious or reactive dogs -A structured environment where she can continue her training and build confidence -Possibly with one balanced, friendly dog or calm, dog-savvy cat (with careful introductions) Ruby is affectionate, smart, and full of love to give—she just needs a patient, understanding person or family who will give her the chance she needs and help her continue to blossom. With consistency and care, Ruby will reward you with loyalty, laughter, and endless love. If you think your home would be a good fit for Ruby, apply to meet / adopt her at www.muttmisfits.org/adoption-application or email muttmisfitsadoptions@gmail.com with any inquiries. Ruby is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $75. She does not have any special needs or take any medications.
