Story
Meet Oreo! Oreo is a handsome LabraDoodle that weighs 45 pounds and is 1 year old. Oreo has a true love for life that he is happy to show to anyone that will let him! He loves to run and play and has lots of energy to do those things with. Since Oreo does have lots of energy it would be best if he is in a home with no young children unless the time is given right away to have a trainer work on jumping. He really loves the littles but is just a big goofball and may accidently knock them over and hurt them. Oreo has done really well with the other dogs he has met as long as they don't mind dogs that really like to play with them, he may be a bit much for a very low energy dog. Oreo knows a leash and has done well but could still use just a little practice with that and with potty training, but does do really well in a crate. Interested in becoming a forever home for OreoDoodle? For immediate consideration, please fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we DO NOT go any further without an application. If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting OreoDoodle. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and OreoDoodle the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. Our normal adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
This is The Amazing Harvey. He is about 50 lbs and 5-7 years old. He is prefect in every way. He is house trained and crate trained. He is never crated at his foster house and he is well-behaved all day. He does NOT chew on shoes, clothes, or the everyday phone charger. :) If he takes a toy outside, it is fair game to possibly lose its life. He loves to play with water (but he has no interest in the pool). If you need to water flowers, he is always there to help. He likes to chase it, bite it, spin for it (video in the comments!). He also knows how to sit and shake. He is very smart and we are sure he can learn so much more. He loves to play ball. He and his foster sister like to see who can get to the ball first. Harvey can play ball for as long as someone is willing to throw the ball. Harvey gets along well with all dogs and cats. We assume he would be amazing with kids due to his calm demeanor. He does have some mild anxiety with storms. During the last storm, he went into a dark closet and that seemed to be all he needed (and a few cuddles). We assume July 4th could also cause some anxiety so he will require patience and understanding. Harvey will never leave your side. He is up for any adventure that may come his way. He is a very happy-go-lucky boy!!! Harvey is current on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick, dewormed, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Harvey, please fill out our application.

Story
Irwin is a sweet boy that was rescued from one of our local shelters. He was found lying in a ditch after being apparently hit by a car. He didn't have any fractures, but was pretty banged up. He is some kind of "doodle" mix. Maybe lab, poiinter, poodle? We don't really know what to call him. He is low shedding. Irwin is house traiend, and crate trained, and does well with most other dogs. He's sweet, but plays a bit too rough with small dogs, althoujgh that is improving, and he can be intimidating to some others. ,He has some basic manners, but is still learning not to snatch unattended food off the counter. He rides well in the car, and walks well on leash. Irwin is not for everyone. He is very protective of his people with strangers, and will need slow introductions to anyone interested in adopting. He would do best in a home without children or many visitors. He must have a securely fenced yard, no chain link or electric fences. Irwin loves to play with toys, and snuggle on the couch. He's very good at finding toys to chew on instead of something inappropriate. He would love to sleep with his people, but will sleep on the dog bed if you insist. All available dogs are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and given a broad spectrum dewormer . The adoption fee for dogs is $150 for Adult dogs > 15lbs, $100 for Seniors 8yr+, and $200 for Small breed dogs and Puppies < 6 months  If you decide to apply for this or another animal, you can complete the application online here https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/570/generic We require that all dogs in the home be spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, and on heartworm prevention. If you would like to email or call, you can reach us here: mustangshelterfriends@gmail.com or  405-578-4738Our volunteers would love to talk to you about available pets, but please allow time for them to get back to you, they do this in their free time. Story
Meet Ricky Cocoa. Ricky is just over a year old. He was born December 2021 and is about 60 pounds. We believe Ricky is Labrador, Great Dane and maybe Weimaraner in his super mutt mix. His momma was only 35 pounds, and Ricky has far surpassed her in size, so daddy must have been big! Ricky is the mild mannered, well behaved, and smartest boy of his litter! Ricky is also the last of his litter with the rescue, his siblings all were more colorful, and Ricky is nearly all black, with just the one patch of white. He’s sweet, happy, and quiet. He is perfectly crate trained, and asks to go out. Ricky knows to sit to say please. He knows to get in his crate when asked. He does very very well on a leash, although some practice for long walks might be needed. He’s been good with cats and kids. You couldn’t ask for a better addition to your family. Story
Meet Ruby! She is a year old, around 40 lb Lab/cattle dog mix ready to find her forever home! Ruby came to us from a rural shelter with what were thought to be bite or scratch marks all over her face. Turns out she endured an obscure disease called puppy strangles that causes scarring lesions on puppies' heads and faces. She is still healing and may have some scarring that remains with her for life but she is ready to find her forever family that can love her just as she is! Ruby is a little submissive, likely from her early life as a stray, but once you've gained her confidence she is a delight! She is so friendly and eager to please and learn. She loves to be around her people and will follow you around the house to calmly keep you company while you cook or do chores. She will even offer to help folding laundry, lol! She is such a sweet girl! She is doing great with house training and is kennel trained. She is good with other dogs and enjoys playing with one of her foster brothers. She ignores cats as she thinks they are meanies! She doesn't live with children but would likely do well with older kids (6+), as she is still a young, playful girl. This sweetheart would make a great companion or addition to a fun, playful family! She is just waiting for her chance to show you what a good girl she is. You can send inquiries to our director of adoptions at muttmisfitsadoptions@gmail.com or apply to meet / adopt her at www.muttmisfits.com/adoption-application She is spayed, update to date on vaccinations and preventatives, and microchipped.

Meet Duke! Duke Elliott is 1 to 2 years old and weighs about 55 pounds. Duke is crate trained, potty trained and walks well on a leash. Duke would love a family to go on fun adventures with! Interested in becoming a forever home for Duke Elliot?
