Story
Meet Claus! Have you been searching for a companion who is equal parts affectionate cuddle-bug and joyful adventurer? Look no further! Claus is a 3-year-old, 25 lb Miniature Poodle who is ready to officially find his forever family. The Highlights * House Trained: He's already got the house rules down! * Leash Rockstar: Claus absolutely loves his walks and has excellent leash manners. * Dog Friendly: He gets along beautifully with other dogs of a similar size. * Smart & Eager to Please: He knows his basic commands and loves showing off his good manners. His Ideal Home & Companionship Claus is an incredibly sweet, high-energy pup who thrives on connection and love. He does experience some separation anxiety, which his foster family has been actively working on. * The Best Fit: We are seeking a detached home with a fully fenced yard for Claus. He needs a dedicated space of his own to zoom around, burn off his signature Poodle energy, and sniff the world safely! * Better Together: Claus absolutely loves the company of other dogs. When he is paired up with a canine sibling of a similar size, his separation anxiety is minimal, making him a fantastic addition to a home that already has a small dog. * A Note on Anxiety: When he does feel a bit anxious about being away from his humans, Claus has periods where he will express himself by barking. A detached home will ensure he has the freedom to find his confidence without any neighborly noise concerns. If you have the space, the love, and the right environment for this handsome, curly-coated sweetheart, please submit an application today! ••••••••• As my foster family gets to know me my profile can change and will be updated accordingly. Check back often for details! An application for me can be found at www.justpaws.ca. Just Paws is located in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. We do not adopt out of province or country. Please note that although many of our dogs get along with children, we are not able to adopt to any household with kids under the age of 8 years old. This is a stipulation of our insurance and is not a reflection on suitability of the potential adopter.
