Story
Christmas in July has come early… don’t miss out, adopt Claus! At approximately 3 years old and 25 lbs, this medium-sized Poodle is ready to sleigh his way right onto your nice list. Claus is being fostered in Toronto. Claus has one holiday mission: spreading joy and making friends wherever he goes. Humans? Ho-ho-his favourite. Visitors? A reason to celebrate. Other dogs? Future members of Team Claus! This curly Christmas miracle is equal parts sweetheart and lovable elf. Claus is goofy and playful but he’s also already house trained, knows his basic commands, and is eager to please, making him a gift that comes fully assembled! He’s still decking the halls of his manners, though, and sometimes forgets that not everyone wants an enthusiastic pair of fluffy paws wrapped around them. If energy were Christmas lights, Claus would be the entire North Pole display. This merry little reindeer absolutely loves his walks and has made them the top item on his wish list. The second he spots his leash, he jingles all the way with spins, hops, play bows. Frequent exercise helps keep this festive fellow happy, and he loves sniffing out new adventures and greeting admirers. And yes, his zoomies are faster than Santa’s sleigh on Christmas Eve! Once the festivities wind down, Claus is happy to settle in for a long nap. He’s perfectly suited for a house, condo, or apartment as long as he gets his regular exercise. His tiny nub tail may be short, but his full-body wiggles are merry and bright whenever you come home. Claus can experience some separation anxiety, so he’ll do best with a family who is home often. In return, this sweet boy will give you enough love, loyalty, and Christmas cheer to last the whole year! Bring home Claus and make every day feel like Christmas morning. He’s ready to sleigh the role of loving family member! ••••••••• As my foster family gets to know me my profile can change and will be updated accordingly. Check back often for details! An application for me can be found at www.justpaws.ca. Just Paws is located in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. We do not adopt out of province or country. Please note that although many of our dogs get along with children, we are not able to adopt to any household with kids under the age of 8 years old. This is a stipulation of our insurance and is not a reflection on suitability of the potential adopter.
