BLOSSOM is a tripod (front leg amputee). Blossom is a sweet, intelligent, affectionate girl who had a rough beginning in her life. She was found along a country road dragging a mangled front leg which ultimately had to be amputated. We rescued her from the shelter and began working with her to figure out how to balance and live on 3 legs. Her rehab included work at UT veterinary center where she was fitted with her own wheel cart. Even with her disability, she exudes love and enjoys sitting with her human buddies here and just hanging out. Her favorite past-time is to lie and roll around in the grass and be brushed. She can run short distances and enjoys playing with other dogs. Here are some details about adopting her: The first step to adopting Blossom is to complete an application. The application process for Blossom is located at https://tapsusa.org/why-adopt/application/. Once you have completed the application and determined to be a fit for Blossom, we will invite you to meet her. Then, a volunteer will follow up to schedule a home visit (which is why we ask that you live within 25 miles of 37737). Please understand that we are unable to respond to applications from outside the area.

Hazel is a 3 year old Labradoodle. She has lived outside on a farm her entire life. She was used as a breeder for her entire life. KVPP offered to fix Hazel and the other breeders for free. The owners agreed but when they came in for surgery we discovered they were heartworm positive. The owners could not afford their care and surrendered them to us. Hazel is now spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and awaiting heartworm treatment. She is learning how to live inside a home. She is great with other dogs and beginning to realize how much she loves human attention. Hazel is being fostered in Knoxville, TN.

Duke was rescued from a family member! He unfortunately has stomach issues , he just has ti have sensitive stomach dog food! Duke loves to play and hangout with his people and he is friendly to everyone he meets!! He enjoys playing outside and running! He is great with older kids ( like 5 and up ). I believe babies just stress him out!

Meet Lady! I am a 3-year-old black lab. I am in Foster in Knoxville, Tennessee from Texoma Dog Ranch Rescue in Texas. I was stressed out at the Dog Ranch being in kennels all the time and around a lot of loud dogs so I was lucky enough to find a foster here in good old Tennessee. I am a really sweet 💕and smart girl. I am 54 lbs and I have been spayed and fully vetted. I know some basic commands and I am house and crate trained. I have been in my foster home for a little over a month and I have really started coming out of my shell... oh and by the way I am dog friendly as my foster has two little Daschunds. I would do well in just about any home but preferably without younger children since I am only 3 with energy and might accidentally bump into one. I would absolutely love a home that was active and could take me on lots of walks and have a nice fenced yard. 🏡 I promise I am a kind gentle soul and will love you forever. 🥰 I was rescued from a shelter a day before I was supposed to be euthanized 😳 due to space so I know I have a purpose for someone out there. 😇 For more information on me please email texomadogcoordinator@gmail.com.
