Guiness is a 3 year old Labradoodle. He has lived outside on a farm his entire life. He was used as a breeder for his entire life. KVPP offered to fix Guiness and the other breeders for free. The owners agreed but when they came in for surgery we discovered they were heartworm positive. The owners could not afford their care and surrendered them to us. Guiness is now neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and awaiting heartworm treatment. He is learning how to live inside a home. He is great with other dogs and beginning to realize how much he loves human attention. Guiness is being fostered in Knoxville, TN.

BLOSSOM is a tripod (front leg amputee). Blossom is a sweet, intelligent, affectionate girl who had a rough beginning in her life. She was found along a country road dragging a mangled front leg which ultimately had to be amputated. We rescued her from the shelter and began working with her to figure out how to balance and live on 3 legs. Her rehab included work at UT veterinary center where she was fitted with her own wheel cart. Even with her disability, she exudes love and enjoys sitting with her human buddies here and just hanging out. Her favorite past-time is to lie and roll around in the grass and be brushed. She can run short distances and enjoys playing with other dogs. Here are some details about adopting her: The first step to adopting Blossom is to complete an application. The application process for Blossom is located at https://tapsusa.org/why-adopt/application/. Once you have completed the application and determined to be a fit for Blossom, we will invite you to meet her. Then, a volunteer will follow up to schedule a home visit (which is why we ask that you live within 25 miles of 37737). Please understand that we are unable to respond to applications from outside the area.

Duke was rescued from a family member! He unfortunately has stomach issues , he just has ti have sensitive stomach dog food! Duke loves to play and hangout with his people and he is friendly to everyone he meets!! He enjoys playing outside and running! He is great with older kids ( like 5 and up ). I believe babies just stress him out!

Speedo is a handsome 69 pound, black and white lab retriever mix. He is leash trained, well-mannered and seems to know basic commands. We believe he has been someone’s beloved pet but no chip and no way to contact owners. Found wandering in the Ellejoy Road area. He is one beautiful dog! Adoption fee is $110. Includes all age appropriate Vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, & HW test if old enough, and dewormed. Estimated Birthday 03-12-23.
