Roscoe has been a great companion for my son, especially loving playing in water. Always sticks by his side. My son started a construction job and is gone 12 hrs daily, and has wisely decided he wants a better life for Roscoe. He originally paid $300 for him, but just wants him to go to a good home. Roscoe has often been at my house, where he has been around other dogs and young kids. He has done great, just can't add another to our house!

Story
Astro, 3 yo, first came to us through Rover about a year and a half ago. I cared for him and his brother several times while his owners went on vacation. After his owners separated and each took one of their pets, I had the opportunity to care for Astro again several times this past 6 months. When his owner dropped him off most recently, she had to leave TX b/c of a family emergency. Sadly, her family member has since passed away, and due to her circumstances, she let me know she won’t be able to return to Tx anytime soon. Knowing that I wasn’t in a position to keep him permanently, she asked if I would help find him the loving forever home he deserves. The past several weeks, Astro has become part of our family. He’s been an amazing dog: gentle, loving, and wonderful w/kids. My kids have completely fallen in love w/him, and saying goodbye won’t be easy. As much as we’d love to keep him, being a single mom means I have to be realistic about what I can financially provide.

I’m looking to find my dog a loving, forever home where he’ll get the time, attention, and care he truly deserves. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but I want what’s best for him. He is a sweet, loving, and playful dog who enjoys being around people and loves attention. He would do best with someone who has the time to play with him, give him plenty of exercise, and make him part of the family. He does have ongoing medical needs, as he is prone to skin and ear infections. Because of this, I’m looking for someone who is financially able and willing to keep up with his veterinary care, medications, and grooming so he can stay healthy and comfortable. My biggest priority is finding him a safe, stable, and loving home where he’ll be cherished for the rest of his life. If you think you’d be a good fit, I’d love to hear from you.

Story
Tank is a 1 1/2yr old Lab/Heeler mix. He is the sweetest boy once he warms up to you. He is sometimes nervous at first but will surely steal your heart quickly. Tank's personality can be described as calm and subtle. He does do well with other dogs, and kids but, absolutely does not like cats. Tank is 1 of 2 dogs that we need to rehome; his brother's name is Bear, and we would like to keep them together but are aware that it may not be possible. Tank is up to date on vaccines, including DA2PP+Lepto, Rabies, Bordetella, not on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. He is intact at this time, unable to neuter due to costs and recovering time. We are sad to have to make this decision, but due to unforeseen family circumstances and moving we are unable to give Tank the life he deserves and needs. We want to make sure that he is able to have the attention and space to be able to thrive into the loving, sweet boy that we know him to be.

Story
Bear is a 1 1/2 yr old lab/heeler mix who loves food and chewy on anything and everything. This boy has lots of energy and loves to go on walks and car rides (takes a second to settle down). He is 1 of 2 and has a sibling named Tank and we would like to be able to keep them together but understand that it might not be possible. He does do well with kids but absolutely hates cats and chases after them. Up-to-date on vaccines including DA2PP+Lepto, Rabies, and Bordetella, not on Flea/Tick/heartworm prevention at this time. Bear is intact, unable to get him neutered due to costs and recovery time. We are sad to have to rehome him, but due to unforeseen family circumstances and moving, we are unable to give him the yard/life he deserves and would like for him to be able to thrive and grow into the handsome sweet boy we know and love now.
