Story
Hi!!! My name is Remy. I'm a gorgeous male labradoodle seeking a new home. Me - handsome, bearded, 2 year old gentleman with a charming and fun loving personality. You- loving, caring, fun loving human with a large fully fenced back yard and lots of dog toys. We had to move and my Nana's Great Dane puppy doesn't want to play with me. I grew up with a Newfy and Yorkie - so I do get along with other dogs. I like one of the cats I grew up with, but the other one runs from me all the time. My mom doesn't want to rehome me, but doesn't know what else to do. I love kids. I love to play. I would be a great exercise companion. Want to know more about me, please contact my Mom.

These pups are in Austin, Texas too!

Story
If you are looking for a playful older dog, Max is your boy. Max is a nine year old Labrador mix looking for a home for napping, spending some time outside, or just playing with his tennis balls. Max has shown his appreciation for water even in just a doggy pool but also enjoys water in nature. Max's human cannot run out of tennis balls! He prefers to have two in his mouth with one between the paws. That is his doggy heaven. He will also play tug of war and keep away. He is a good fetcher. Sometimes he is ready for another throw and other times Max will drop it for you. Max is looking for a home where he can get some activity but a nice place to enjoy the indoor weather, too. As a black dog, Max would appreciate a back yard pool. Apartment living would also be a good choice since Mac does sleep the day away while his humans away. Max’s foster works from home and reports Max is an easy going dog who does not interrupt her day but also knows when it is time for a break and when the clock says 5:00pm.

Story
Leonard... we love his sweet and slightly salty labby spirit and you will too! He has an endearing personality, he`s older, he just `gets` things, he has a great grasp of the verbals and he`s really in tune with his people. Of course he knows everything you expect, he`s housetrained like a tank, has nice manners and is often a loose leash walker. He lost his home and his very important man who had to give him up to a life`s hardship. He then was displaced back into the same shelter he started at a few years ago. 13 years looks good on him though, and he`s not letting it hold him down but it`s not a great age to be in a shelter...Leonard loves life on both the easy and wild side - these days `wild` means chasing a tennis ball for 5 or 10 minutes or swimming a little or barking for treats (yes please & many!) and `easy` means lounging on a luxury liner bed with a smile. Leonard doesn`t like to dine alone in a noisy kennel. He waits until walk time and corrals us in his kennel to be present while he devours his dinner and makes us wait. He has us wrapped around his little paws! Leonard also has a large mass that needs to be removed from his rump and the longer he`s here the larger the risk it may erupt. We`re going to get that fixed through medical sponsorship by ClassicCaninesATX but he needs to recover in a home, not a shelter kennel. Can you help Leonard by giving him a pet free home so we can get this work completed? Leonard is on the URGENTS LIST and supported by so many fans and especially by his friends at Orange Dot Crew and Classic Canines.

Story
June was surrendered to AAC because her mom needed to get out of scary situation and couldn’t take her with her. She was not adjusting well to shelter life. She was very anxious and unable to settle. After arriving in her foster home, she started to relax and show her true personality.June is a lovable, goofy lab mix, with one ear that stands up and another ear that flops to the side. She is a total sweetheart and just wants to be near her people. She follows her foster parents around the house. She especially loves cuddling on the couch, having her ears and tummy scratched and running and playing fetch in the backyard. Her favorite toy is her treat dispenser ball. She already knows the rules of the house. She communicates when she needs to go outside to go potty. She is not destructive in the house, even when left alone. She doesn’t even seem interested in chewing shoes! She has very good tables manners too! She is great about not begging for food, in fact, she will sit quietly under the dinner table when her foster parents are eating. While in foster care, her foster parents haven’t seen her interact with children, cats, or other dogs. But her previous owner stated that she had lived with an elderly chihuahua in the past. She loves visitors who come to the house. After a couple of minutes of excitement she will settle down and give lots of attention and licks to new friends.June cannot wait to find her forever home! She is a sweet girl who has been through a lot and just wants to give all her love and affection to her family.
