Once he bonds with you, Reese is incredibly loyal, affectionate, and content just being by your side. Reese has lived in a home before and has a great foundation—he’s smart, responsive, and knows how to settle in and relax. He truly shines in a calm environment where he feels safe and understands what’s expected of him. Reese will need an experienced and patient adopter. He can be wary of new people and has shown some reactive behaviors, especially when he feels overwhelmed or protective. Because of this, he’ll do best in a quieter home with minimal visitors and a consistent routine to help him feel secure. He is looking for: • An adult-only home (or older, dog-savvy kids) • A calm, low-traffic environment • A confident owner who understands behavior and will go at his pace • A home where he can be the only pet Reese is the kind of dog who forms a deep, meaningful bond with his person.
