Coco, my beautiful chocolate labradoodle, is 6 years old, he’s gentle, funny, expressive, and loves to be petted and walked. I have a family member that turned out to be allergic to him so I have had to make the hard decision to re-home him. He does shed some hair, not like regular dogs but he did pull genes from the Labrador side. He gets along with people and other dogs. He’s curious about cats but we’ve never come close to one to really know how he will do but he’s scared of almost anything so aggression is not a concern. He’s house-trained and is really good about respecting food on the counter. He doesn’t climb on beds or couches. He knows many commands and listens well except when chasing a squirrel. He has his rabies shot and he’s on heart worm prevention. The special need is for him to live indoors as he cannot tolerate this Texas heat, and a daily walk. He’s the gentlest dog you’ll meet, it breaks my heart to see him go. Hoping for a loving home that will love him.

Application only. Rascal and Chase are 6-year-old bonded boys who are looking for a loving home where they can continue to be their best selves. These handsome guys are potty trained, enjoy going for car rides, and do pretty well on a leash. They are good with other dogs, although they may need a little time to get comfortable with new canine friends. They have also done well with calm cats. As with any new introduction, slow and supervised introductions are always recommended. Both boys can be a little unsure of strangers and will bark when meeting new people, so they'll need a family who is willing to give them some time and patience to warm up. Once they feel comfortable, they're ready to show you their sweet side! We don't yet know how Rascal and Chase do around children or livestock, so those introductions would need to be handled carefully if applicable. If you're looking for a pair of sweet boys who are past the puppy stage but still have plenty of love to give, Rascal and Chase may be the perfect match! They are fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention, they are scheduled to get neutered on 9/8.

He takes treats gently and enjoys interacting with people, though he does have a tendency to jump up in his excitement. He will likely need a refresher on potty training and crate training as he adjusts to a new home, but with consistency and patience, he should do well. So far, he has not shown any signs of dog aggression, and his sweet, friendly demeanor makes him a great companion for a home ready to help him continue learning and thriving. Bandera has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heart worm negative, and started on prevention.

She loves giving kisses and being around her people, making her a loving companion for someone looking for a big-hearted girl. She is somewhat crate trained and may need continued guidance, patience, and consistency as she learns her new routine. Caveat does not do well with other dogs and would do best as the only dog in the home. She also resource guards her food, so her adopter will need to be mindful of this and provide appropriate management and continued training around mealtimes. Because of this, she will need a home that is willing to understand her needs and help her succeed. If you’re looking for a sweet girl who loves her people and has plenty of affection to give, Caveat may be the one for you!
