Angus is a sweet, playful guy who really loves his people. He’s the kind of dog who will happily come over for a hug and then immediately bounce off to go play. We pulled Angus from the South Salt Lake shelter in December, where he had already spent about five months waiting. When he came to us, he had a cherry eye that needed medical attention. Thanks to our community, we were able to get it fixed, and after surgery he spent a few weeks in foster recovering. In foster, he showed that he’s not just a energetic dog — he also enjoys hanging out on the couch and being close to his humans. Angus loves to run and would do great in a home with a yard or an active lifestyle. He’s fast and playful, especially when he has another dog to run around with. One of his favorite things is playing keep-away with toys while zooming around the yard. He does well with other dogs and knows how to sit and shake. From what we’ve seen, he may be okay with cats, though he can be a little too interested at times. Angus is a fun, affectionate dog who’s ready to finally have a home of his own after spending so much time waiting.
