Story
Despite his name, we do know about this handsome man! John Doe is estimated to be a 4 year old poodle mix and is ready for a new start. He's often shy a first, but once he's comfortable he's a steady, calm presence to have at your side. He is loving boy who is so excited to great you at the door. He loves to play and run around in the yard and plays with other dogs wonderfully! He’s good with kids after he gets over his shyness. He’s house trained and knows basic commands. He has fantastic recall and will hang out near you when off leash. Such a good boy looking for his furever family. Why John Doe? -good with other dogs! -loves treats -affectionate once comfortable with you! -stays right by you always!

Story
Got him as a puppy from a guy who just dropped him off at my moms hospital, he’s a great dog and a pure bread good boy, I just have a very demanding job and can’t give him the attention and care that he deserves, he loves ear scratches and French fries. He’s fully vaccinated, he knows sit, wait, and is potty trained.

Story
He is a 2.5-year-old Lab who is loving, playful, and full of energy. He loves being outside, running, playing, and having room to explore. We recently welcomed a new baby and unfortunately can no longer give him the time, exercise, and attention he deserves. This is a very difficult decision, and finding the right home is extremely important to us.He gets very excited around new people and dogs and may jump when excited, but he is not aggressive. He would do best with someone who has an active lifestyle and ideally a yard, acreage, or plenty of space for him to play. Please do not adopt him if you won't have the time to give him regular attention, exercise, and companionship. We want him to be part of the family and truly loved. If you adopt him and later decide you can no longer care for him, please bring him back to us. Do not take him to a shelter or give him to someone else. We will always take him back. We want someone who will truly make him part of their family and love him.

Story
My wife adopted Fergus 6 years ago as a puppy just before we were married. As our family has grown and our lifestyle evolves, it’s become difficult to keep up with this big hairy boy’s needs in our tight fitting home. He’s truly an amazing animal and companion. Very loving, affectionate, and cuddly. His biggest frustration for us lately is getting into the trash or eating off the table if we leave things out while gone. That, combined with coat/shedding maintenance and religious vacuuming has added to much to our very full plates. He will thrive in an environment with lots of attention, affection, space to play, kids or other dogs, and a very routine grooming schedule.

Story
Lorelai’s journey didn’t start kindly. She was found tied to a tree before being brought to the shelter, where the noise and chaos were overwhelming for her. Lorelai spent weeks struggling in that environment—until ManyPaws stepped in and placed her with an incredible foster who gave her the space and safety she needed to heal. Once Lorelai feels secure, she’s an absolute gem. She’s affectionate, intuitive, and beautifully balanced, the kind of dog who’s just as happy curled up on the couch as she is racing around the yard showing off her zoomie speed. She’s independent but deeply loyal, forming strong bonds with the people she trusts. Lorelai can be cautious with new people and dogs at first, but patience and calm introductions make all the difference. In foster care, she’s learned that not every stranger is scary, not every dog is a threat, and that the world can be a good, joyful place. With thoughtful guidance, she blossoms into a sweet, devoted companion. Inside the home, Lorelai truly shines. She’s quiet, clean, and respectful of routines. She sleeps peacefully in her crate all night, entertains herself with toys or bones during the day, and causes no chaos, just calm, steady companionship. She loves lounging just as much as she loves running, making her an easy and enjoyable dog to live with. Lorelai has worked hard in training and continues to build her confidence. She walks nicely on leash, eats comfortably alongside her foster brother, and proudly shows off her Sit and Shake skills once she warms up. She’s thriving with structure, consistency, and connection, and the rescue will continue covering her training after adoption. Lorelai isn’t for the average pet owner, but for the right person, she’s everything. She’s looking for someone who understands that leadership is about trust, patience, and partnership. In return, she’ll be a fiercely loyal friend who sticks by your side through it all. If you’re looking for more than a dog—if you’re looking for a true companion—Lorelai might just be your perfect match 🐾💛 EMBARK BREED RESULTS: American Pit Bull Terrier: 33% Labrador Retriever: 31% Australian Shepherd: 12% Boxer:11% Golden Retriever: 7% German Shepherd: 4%
