Story
Mase is a super sweet and gentle 3+ year old, large mixed-breed girl weighing in at about 75 lbs. She is very friendly and attention-seeking and loves meeting new people, approaching and leaning in for pets and loving assurance. She is great on a leash and follows her handler easily and enters and exits her kennel willingly without any issues. She has a moderate energy level, loves to play and romp around but engages appropriately and settles down quickly and with ease, and is happy to snuggle in for a nap or cozy time! This girl is going to make a great family pet or companion to a family, couple or individual who is ready to open their heart and home to her and give her the love and affection she deserves. Mase will be arriving in New England on May 22nd and is looking for a forever home, foster-to-adopt or a foster home until she finds her forever home. If you are interested in Mase, please contact Village for Paws Rescue at villageforpawsrescue@gmail.com for more information or to fill out an application.

Story
Daisy is a 12-year-old CKC Certified Labradoodle with a heart as soft as her fluffy coat. She came into our care after her beloved owner experienced a stroke. Now she’s looking for a peaceful, calm, loving home to spend her golden years. This sweet girl is the definition of easygoing. Daisy is fully housetrained and gets along beautifully with everyone: cats, dogs, and children alike. She’s a laid-back companion who prefers cozy naps, gentle affection, and giving you the cutest little facial expressions that will absolutely melt your heart. Daisy did have a liver issue in mid-2025, but with the help of Milk Thistle she has been symptom-free for the past 4 months and is doing wonderfully. She also has a few harmless lipomas (just a little extra fluff from loving her meals!), which have been checked by a veterinarian and don’t cause her any pain or concern. She’s truly a low-maintenance, loving companion who just wants a soft place to land and someone to love. Daisy can be adopted on her own or with her lifelong companion Thor (13 years old), if you’re looking to open your heart to a bonded pair of sweet seniors. If you’re ready for a calm, loyal, and endlessly lovable best friend, Daisy is your girl   PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT: Completed applications take precedence over inquiries.
