Macy is a social butterfly who loves people and has excellent dog social skills. She would love a playful canine sibling to wrestle and run with, but she'd also be happy soaking up all the attention as your one-and-only. Like any young dog, she's still polishing her manners, so she'll do best with someone willing to continue her training. She's very smart, eager to please, and highly treat-motivated.
At home, Macy is your shadow. She wants to be part of everything you do and will happily follow you just a couple of steps behind. She already knows "sit" and "shake," waits politely for meals and treats, loves curling up on the couch or in bed with you, and can match the energy of the moment once she's had her exercise. She's often carrying a toy around the house and doing something goofy to make you laugh, and she absolutely loves hopping in the car for new adventures.
Macy is fully house-trained, comfortable in her crate, and will often choose to nap there with the door open. She enjoys neighborhood walks and does well on leash, though she still gets excited and may pull a little while she's learning. Her pulling isn't extreme—she's just excited to see the world! She may also jump up when she's extra happy to see you, but she's eager to learn and responds wonderfully to positive reinforcement.
