Story
Tank is a loving, affectionate dog with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. He loves being around people, enjoys attention, and is always ready for an adventure. He is healthy, happy, and full of life. Tank has a lot of energy and would thrive in a home with plenty of space to run, play, and explore. An active family, a large fenced yard, or even a farm setting would be ideal for him. He loves being outdoors and has never quite outgrown his puppy enthusiasm. Like many energetic dogs, Tank can be a little mischievous. He tends to put anything and everything in his mouth and sometimes makes his own fun if he's bored. He will do best with owners who can provide structure, supervision, exercise, and continued training. This decision has not been made lightly. We love Tank very much and want to find a home where he can get the space, activity, and attention he deserves.

Story
Animal Aces Kid Spotlight! Our Animal Aces Kids Club members put on their reporter hats and interviewed our animal care team to learn more about some of our adoptable animals! The short write-ups below are kid-created spotlights based on what they learned during their interviews. Some are silly, some are sweet, and all are written with big hearts to help our animals shine. Some pets may not have an official shelter bio yet, so consider this a special sneak peek! Written by an Animal Aces Kids Club memberHi, my name is Porter and I am a black retriever Labrador mix. I am five years old and a best friend for life. I am a male, neutered and active dog, who loves attention. I am not aggressive and I`m dog and cat friendly! My favorite toys are squeaky toys and I know how to sit. I’m good with people and I would like a patient home with love and scratches. I am also good with kids, but I would prefer a home with kids 10 and up. If you’re looking for a best friend who loves toys, scratches, love, people, and maybe a few treats too, I am definitely the pup for you!
