Meet Abigail, a one and a half year old Lab/Husky mix weighing 67 pounds. Abigail is a sweet, happy, and silly young pup who came to the shelter with her sister, Marla. The two were sadly dumped as puppies and didn’t receive much early guidance, so Abigail is looking for a patient, committed adopter who’s excited to help her learn and grow.Abigail is full of classic puppy energy and enthusiasm—sometimes a little too enthusiastic! She’s currently working on the command “off” and is eager to learn, especially when she has people she trusts by her side. When she’s unsure, Abigail looks to her humans for guidance and reassurance, which makes her a great candidate for training and bonding.She can be a bit uncertain around new or unfamiliar things, but with encouragement and support, she shows just how brave she can be. Friendly, playful, and always ready to be silly, Abigail will thrive in a home willing to invest time, patience, and love into helping her become the confident dog she’s meant to be.This pet is available for adoption on 12/4/2025 4:01 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
