Story
Introducing Luna the one year old precious doodle.  She weighs about 41lbs, is utd on her shots and recently spayed.  Luna is a cross between Bambi, a baby pony and a cuddly teddy bear.  She prances around with these long legs and uses her front legs to play and say hi to you and her sister dogs.  When we’re walking she mostly prances and gallops but if something scares her she drops into the Bambi on ice pose.  We call it pancaking.  She freezes until you tell her it’s all okay and then she’s up prancing again.   Her perfect day would be spent equally divided by cuddling with her humans and playing with her doggie sisters.  And her nights are perfect if she can cuddle with you in bed.  She hasn’t been around cats but as long as they are okay with her coming at them ready to play with her long front legs, she’d be thrilled.  Small kids, same thing.  She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body but she will need to learn manners to not jump up.   As part of her adoption approval, she will need to be enrolled in a training program.  Potty trained; she’s a star.  She goes in/out the doggie door.  She is learning to be okay with car rides.  She is fine once she is in the car, but needs help getting in so we lift her in.  Once in, she sites and lays perfect.  If you are interested in Luna, please fill out a SOI at https://alternativehumanesociety.com/statement-of-interest-dog/ ##2674324##

Mo is a double doodle who was purchased from a breeder in Moses Lake when he was 8 weeks old. He had his second birthday in September. Mo is very affectionate to family members he is familiar with. He is house trained and does well sleeping through the night. He never needs to be let out in the middle of the night. He enjoys sleeping with us on our bed and is very loving. He needs work on fear training. He barks at new people and dogs and seems aggressive when that happens. We have two young kids and at this point it’s difficult to give him what he needs to help him improve. He will at times jump on people. We want him to be in a forever home with someone who will recognize his needs and help him the best they can. We will truly miss him but feel it is necessary for our family to find an owner who will be dedicated to him. Our family would love to visit him from time to time if possible. Heavenly is a joyful, affectionate Labradoodle who thrives on companionship and being part of the action. She adores her family, and we love her deeply, but our busy schedules mean she is not getting the time and attention she truly deserves. Because of that, we are hoping to find her a home where she can be someone’s loyal sidekick and constant companion. She has a natural instinct to watch over the house and will happily keep an eye on her people. Heavenly loves tennis balls, treats, and long walks. If you enjoy playing fetch, she is your girl. She will chase a ball over and over without losing enthusiasm. She has wonderful energy and would do great in a home that can give her regular exercise and interaction. Heavenly will come with a nearly full 40 lb bag of dog food, her food and water bowls, a dog crate, and additional supplies to help make her transition smooth. We are looking for a loving home, with or without kids, that can give Heavenly the time and companionship.

Story
Archie is a almost 4 year old, very very sweet dog with so much personality. He loves long runs on the beach, lounging on his bed and playing fetch in the yard. He’s an amazing companion and loves to be around people. He is well trained in the house (stays off sofas and beds), potty trained and will throw out tricks to earn a treat (some he only understands in Russian, so you might need to learn some Russian). He loves to be active but will come home and lounge around all day to recover. He’s traveled lots so he’s very familiar with the car. And even understands to “get in the back”. I could go on on about everything we love about him. He does need some work on his street manners but he gets better with every year that goes by. Looking for a home that will take him on adventures, give lots of treats and cuddle with him on his bed.
