Story
Sally is a silly and sweet and scared doodle mix. Dad was a Sheepadoodle and mom was a Scottish Terrier. Sally loves other dogs and really needs another dog friend in order to feel comfortable in her home, she would also do best with a fenced in yard. She is very hesitant around men. She walks well on a leash and does fine with cats. Accepting applications now on our website: BeMyFurEvers.com/adopt ##2552657##

Story
Bailey is a very fluffy, soft, shy girlie. She's a perfect medium size - around 35lbs. She gets along great with other pups of all sizes and adores her canine companions- would do best in a home with another dog. She is a active pup who is as happy watching Netflix as she is going for a walk. She's great with children as well, just an easy-going dog who happens to also be super cute! She will need regular grooming every 6 weeks so please understand the expense of a dog like this. Bailey is still working on her housetraining and needs a patient family to help her learn. Bailey is located in Houston TX. There will be a video meet and greet upon approved application. Transport will be arranged at that time. Her fee is $850. FILL OUT AN APPLICATION IF INTERESTED AT: www.recycleddogsrescue.org/adoption-application

Story
Meet Bolt Three years ago Bolt was found as a homeless starving puppy in Amman, Jordan. (Many dogs in this country are treated poorly and treated like vermin, so Bolt was lucky that a kind-hearted man rescued him.) The gentleman (whose name is Ahmad) was shocked to discover that someone had injured Bolt so badly that he could only open his mouth about 1/8 of an inch. Bolt couldn’t chew, bark, pant or defend himself. And the only way he could eat was to push tiny bits of soft food (between his front teeth) using his “wrist”. So Ahmad sent Bolt to a doctor who claimed he could fix Bolt’s broken jaw. But sadly, the surgery was not done properly, so it was unsuccessful. Ahmad wanted to do everything he could to see that Bolt had a chance at a happy, normal life. So he saved his money for two years until he finally was able to pay for Bolt’s very expensive flight( from Jordan) to our small special needs rescue (One Starfish Rehoming Connections) in Wisconsin. The 24 hr. flight was very traumatic for Bolt, so it took a few weeks for him to recover. But after he settled in, we scheduled Bolt’s surgery (to be done by Dr. John Silbernagel, a well-renowned Board Certified orthopedic veterinary surgeon in Madison, Wi.) Fortunately, this surgery was a success!!!! Although Bolt's face is still a little bit "askew" (we think it makes him look all the more charming) he no longer has any special needs. And he is now able to open his mouth and do all the “doggie” things that dogs do—chewing on bones, panting, barking, etc. Bolt has endured a lot of suffering, but he is still a very sweet, quiet laid-back fellow who LOVES to “shake hands” with everyone he meets! Bolt is ready for a new beginning—with an adopter who will love him and care for him for the rest of his life. He would prefer not to be a latchkey dog (so an adopter who works from home, is retired, or just works part time would be ideal). We hope to find an adopter who is just the right fit for Bolt. (We are, admittedly going to be fussy.) But, if you think you are the perfect match for our “almost-perfect” dog, please e-mail us at: sylvialovesme@gmail.com and tell us about yourself, your family, your daily schedule, if you have other pets, etc. Then, if it sounds like Bolt would be a good fit for you, we will send you an application and we’ll then try to arrange a meet-and-greet.

Story
My name is Doobie and I’m a beautiful, young, healthy boy…..with an “old soul” at heart. I love everyone and would enjoy a home with another dog to play with and an adopter who has a large safely fenced yard and who would teach me lots of new things. (I walk well on a leash most of the time, but when I see a squirrel or a deer I pull on my leash and I’m a big, strong guy. And I tend to jump up on people because I love them so much--so I probably wouldn’t be a good fit for an older, frail person or a family with very young children). But….I’m eager to please and am a quick study so I’m learning quickly! I am about a year and a half old and I weigh about 60 lbs. The rescue group who saved me says they think I’m part Lab and part (some kind of) Hound, but….once you adopt me, it would be fun to have you do a DNA test on me! My adoption fee is $250 and I have been neutered, immunized, microchipped, and I have had (negative) heartworm tests done. So I’m all set to come home with you! If you think you would be a good fit for me, please contact my foster “mom” at: sylvialovesme@gmail.com Then, if she agrees I might be the right dog for you, she will send you an adoption application and we can schedule a meet-and-greet along with a pre-adoption home visit. Personality traits Friendly, Affectionate, Loves Kisses

Story
My name is Leah and I’m a beautiful, young, healthy girl with a lot of potential. (I don't climb fences,, but I can jump really high--so with some training I might make a great agility partner.) I would enjoy a home with another dog to run and play with and I need an adopter who has a nice safely fenced yard and who would teach me lots of new things. I am about four years old and I weigh about 35 lbs. The rescue group who saved me says they think I’m part Hound and part "Whats-It" (whatever THAT means -HA HA!). Your guess is as good as theirs, apparently. What do YOU think I"m mixed with? (Maybe I'm some kind of fancy "designer dog" mixed breed!) Anyway, my adoption fee is $250 and I have been spayed, immunized, microchipped, and I have had (negative) heartworm tests done.
