Meet Lainey
Lainey came to us in November 2024 as a 3-month-old puppy from a high-intake Georgia
shelter. She was adopted shortly after arriving, but her first home wasn’t able to provide the
structure, training, and routine a young, energetic dog like her needs. When she became more
than they could manage, she was surrendered to the Sheboygan Humane Society.
Mutt Life Dog Rescue took her back into our care, and she’s now thriving in a loving foster
home. Lainey is getting socialization and positive experiences with both people and other dogs.
She is currently dog-friendly, playful, eager to learn, and she also does well with kids.
Lainey recently attended our Farm and Fleet Meet & Greet Holiday Event, where she did
exceptionally well meeting all the dogs and people. She interacted gently and confidently, and
she was especially great with children ages 3–13. She took treats politely and enjoyed all the
attention.
In her foster home, Lainey has been respectful in the house, fully potty trained, kennel trained,
and she sleeps soundly in her own bed through the night. She also does well with the three
resident dogs. Lainey is settling into a routine beautifully and showing her sweet, affectionate,
and fun personality every day.
