I am current on my vaccines, (soon to be) heartworm tested, spayed, and microchipped.3 words that describe me: Calm, friendly, affectionate.Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: “Such a lovely old lady!” “She’s a happy-sweet tail-waggin girl“Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 3/10 I’m an old lady but still have some pep in my step!Housetraining Status: With a consistent routine, her foster says Dorothy is fully potty trained. (She’s old girl!)I should do well in a home: I’m looking for a calm, adults-only home where I can feel comfortable and secure. While young children can be a bit overwhelming for me, I may do well with other dogs if introductions are done slowly and I’m given time to settle in. I haven’t had the opportunity to meet any cats yet, so it’s unknown how I would do with feline friendsMy favorite activities are: I love to play outside! Hi there, my name is Nolan! I am a 7-year-old male mini poodle. I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, microchipped, and soon to be neutered. 3 words that describe me: Shy, Gentle, Mellow Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I am originally from a breeder who is no longer in business. Due to my rough beginning I can be very shy with new people and situations. I will need an owner who is willing to go slow and at my pace. I don't really know how to be a dog, so I'll need help with that! Even while being terrified I have been the sweetest boy with staff and volunteers. Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 2/10 Housetraining Status: I am working on it. A consistent schedule with lots of praise will help me learn! I should do well in a home: While I'd absolutely love if I was adopted with my buddy Teddy, it is not required. I am just required to go to a home with another dog. Any children in my potential home will need to be 5 years or older to ensure my boundaries are respected. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats. My favorite activities are: Cuddling with Teddy and relaxing in a nice, calm environment Things I need work on are: I've had a rough life and don't really know how to be a dog! As such I'll need to work on building confidence, housetraining, walking on leash, and basic commands. I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, microchipped, and soon to be neutered. 3 words that describe me: Shy, Playful, Guardian Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I am originally from a breeder who is no longer in business. Due to my rough beginning I can be very shy with new people and situations. I have learned that I LOVE squeaky toys, but I'm still working on learning how to be a dog. I see myself as Nolan's guardian, I will lay on him to shield him from the scariness of the world. We would love to go to a home together, but it's not required. Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 4/10 Housetraining Status: I am working on it. A consistent schedule with lots of praise will help me learn! I should do well in a home: I should do well with children of all ages given slow introductions and supervision. I would absolutely LOVE to be adopted with my buddy Nolan, but it's not required. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats. My favorite activities are: Cuddling with Nolan and chewing on some nice squeaky toys.
