Story
Meet Theo, a 2.5 year old, 70lb labrador/shepherd mix who is just the sweetest dog. We are devestated to have to do this, but our boy needs to find a new home that can better meet his needs. We are military and are moving overseas for a long tour assignment, and Theo deserves a home with more stability than we can offer so he can be his best self. He is a medium energy dog who loves to play with his toys or other dogs, but also spends most of the day sleeping. He loves to grab his favorite toys when he's excited and wiggle around! He's shy at first with people he doesn't know but warms up quickly. Theo does have separation anxiety and kennel anxiety. His separation anxiety has gotten better over the last year, but he does whine and bark at first before settling down, so a standalone house would best suit him. We believe his kennel anxiety is overcomable as well. Due to his anxiety, he can be vocally reactive towards people he doesn't know when he's in his space (home or car).

Meet Brett! Brett may be a little shy at first, but give him a chance—and maybe toss a ball his way—and you’ll have a loyal best friend for life. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality really starts to shine. Brett gets along well with other dogs, though he prefers not to share his toys. Because of this, he would do best in a home where toys are put away and only brought out during supervised playtime. He’s a strong boy and can get a bit excited when something catches his attention, but once he settles down, he’s a wonderful walking companion who’s happy to trot right by your side. Brett is a sensitive guy and does not like his feet messed with. He will give clear warnings, but we do not feel he'll thrive in a home with children. A child free home is going to be best for him.
