Story
Have you ever seen something so Precious!? This big girl is looking for a new home. She may look grown up.. but she's only 6 months old! She has loads of energy just looking to be burned. She enjoys the company of other dogs, and likes a good long game of fetch. She's not a fan of her kennel, but with work and patience we think she can adjust, she's still very young. Car rides are not her favorite.. but again, with patience and training hopefully she can overcome that fear. Apply to meet this Precious girl today! She'll need groomed regularly, as she's part Poodle, and her coat will need maintained. Precious would 100% chase a cat if it ran. She may get used to one if slow introductions are done and constant supervision. She has been around kids too, but sometimes knocks them over because she doesn't realize her size.

Meet the loveable Mr. Cooper! Cooper is just a little over a year old, and is the bestest boy. He has pearly white teeth and seems to be in great health. He could play fetch for days! He enjoys the water too, like more labs. And food! He will demand his breakfast from you in the mornings. Cooper has been around other dogs and enjoys their company. He does take a couple minutes to not feel nervous when meeting new people, but he comes around quickly. He has been around a 1 year old and seems to be very gentle around them. He lives with cats.. but he does chase them. It seems just to play with them, but some cats may not appreciate his approach. Apply to meet this perfect boy today!

Story
Meet Grace! Grace is currently enrolled in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and she is almost ready to show off her new skills! Her new abilities include 'sit', 'shake', 'stay' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Grace has such soulful eyes. She can take a while to trust people, because it seems she's been let down before. She is ready to give love another try though. If you have patience and take it slow for Grace to feel comfortable around you, she is one in a million. She can be a bit awkward when she is playing with dogs, it's been a learning process for her. She can be vocal and a bit chewy on the necks of the others. She's just unsure how to play properly, but is slowly catching on. Grace loves to be outside and go for long walks with her handler. She is fairly mellow tempered and once she knows you she likes hanging out with you. She is treat motivated and has learned lots of fun tricks and manners from her time at PACK. Grace bonds hard with her person, and she makes sure that everyone knows it. It's not an issue, but is something to be aware of if you are going to introduce Grace into a home with other dogs. When Grace was at our adoption center, she did ok with cats. With supervision, we feel she should be ok. Apply to meet her today!

Story
Meet Millie! Millie is a graduate of our PACK Program. She learned lots of skills while she was there. She learned 'sit', 'shake', 'place', etc. She will need regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Some of the words used to describe Millie are: - Heart of a puppy - Happy - Playful - Full of energy Do you like going for hikes and having around water? Millie is your girl! She would love to explore all the hiking trails with you. She kennels well as long as she gets plenty of exercise. Sometimes Millie gets too excited during play and can get a bit mouthy. All she needs are breaks to help contain her excitement. Her mouthy behavior may scare small children, who don't understand. Due to this we recommend only kids over 5 for Millie. She can be a little reserved when meeting ne people, but can be won over quickly with tasty treats. Millie has guarded high value items from her canine siblings a couple times in the past. It's best to only give her those items when she is alone or in her kennel. Millie also has some hidden talents! If you're looking to control your fly and miller population, she's excellent in catching them! She also LOVES water and kiddy pools. She'd be an great lake dog! Apply to meet her today.

Story
Roscoe was an emotional support animal with his human before he came to BDAR. This means that he bonds well with humans and will often choose human companions over dogs. Roscoe can be enticed to play among his foster siblings, and he is comforted by their presence. When Roscoe gets nervous, he is able to take cues from other dog and calm down. Roscoe is used to being his person's shadow. He is most likely going to stick to his person like glue. He loves to be right next to his people. He loves to get his belly rubbed and absolutely loves giving kisses. He is a tall boy so he can give you a kiss first thing in the morning. He will cuddle with you especially at the end of the day but he also enjoys playing outside with you or another dog. He is working on learning some tricks. He prefers his crate when left alone, it provides comfort for him.

Story
Have you ever seen a very large dog try to cuddle their way into your soul? Well, meet Trigger! Trigger is very friendly and loves to cuddle. At 85 pounds, it certainly feels like Trigger has a lot of love to give. She is very cat-like despite her size, weaving her way through your legs, sitting down between your feet, or even just standing there. She loves to be close by. Trigger loves toys. She will often root around for her favorite one (it changes every day!), take it up to her kennel and squeak the heck out of it. Trigger is a great gal, and is already setting in nice at the foster home. She loves to play with her foster brother, or just laying in the sun and soaking up all the warmth. Maybe you need a new sunbathing buddy, and you desperately need someone to find all the dog toys in your home? Well apply for Trigger, today and we will get her settled in your home before these warm days come to an end.

Story
Dakota is a 5yr old English Yellow Lab. She knows sit, lay down, shake, leave it, off, and car up. She likes everyone she meets and enjoys low-med energy dogs to play with. She enjoys walks, going to the river, being with other dogs and sleeping at your feet. She is an inside/outside dog. She is trustworthy with free roam, but may end up sleeping on your couch. She prefers inside with her people. Due to change in work schedules, she is home by herself too long. I no longer work from home. She has started barking and doesn’t like being outside if it is getting dark. She would love another dog companion and/or someone around more during the day.

Story
Dallas was adopted from a local shelter. He is up to date with his shots, he is microchipped and neutered. Dallas is a VERY good boy and was adopted for emotional support. He is potty trained and will wait at the door to be let outside. He is very playful with dogs and cats, although he is learning how to play gentle. He knows his commands such as sit, lay down, stay. He loves being outdoors…I usually play outside with him for 1-2 hours. He is working on leash training. He is very sweet and loves to cuddle. I am looking for him to find a new home because I am having landlord troubles, and I am unable to give him the full attention he deserves. Please let me know if you are interested in adopting my sweet boy Dallas. This is very hard for me, but I want what’s best for Dallas.

Story
Meet Maximus, Max for short. He traveled all the way from Texas to join us in Wyoming. He is loving being out of the shelter and in a foster home. He absolutely adores other dogs, and enjoys playing with his canine foster sibling. He does know how to destroy a dog toy in .5 seconds, but it's just because he has never had them before and he's such a puppy still! Maximus loves his people too, and once his energy is expressed, he is always down for a good cuddle session. Being he's still a young pup, with boundless energy.. a yard with room to run is going to be ideal for him. He has done really well with potty training and crate training. If he is left out unattended, we could imagine him being a little mischievous. Apply to meet this good boy today!
