Story
Meet Miss Piper – Your Future Shadow & Sweetheart! Miss Piper is an absolute sweetheart with a gentle soul. She can be a bit shy at first, especially around men, but once she warms up, she’ll be your loyal little shadow — always by your side and ready for snuggles. Piper does wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine companion. Having a furry friend helps ease her anxiety when her humans are away, so a doggy sibling is a must! She's not a fan of being alone for long periods, but having a buddy really helps. While she’s great with dogs, cats aren’t her thing — so she’ll need a kitty-free home. She’s mostly house-trained and does well in her kennel. With a bit of consistency and patience, she’ll settle in beautifully. Piper will do best in a home where someone is around for part of the day and where she can get regular exercise and activity to keep her happy and balanced. Ready to give this sweet girl the loving home she deserves? Apply to meet Miss Piper today – she’s waiting for you!

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Thea! She is currently enrolled in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and she is almost ready to show off her new skills! Her new abilities include 'sit', 'down', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Thea loves loves loves her people. If she could just sit beside you and get pets all day, she would. She typically chooses to hand out with them instead of other dogs. She plays fine with the other dogs but is just awkward with her play. She is very treat motivated and eager to please. She does well in her kennel at PACK and appears to be housetrained. Thea has lived with cats before and seems to be fine around them. She will graduate towards the beginning of December and is ready to find her new home where she can soak up all the love. Apply to meet her today!

Story
Bucky is a 4 year old black Labrador Retriever mix. He is a stage 5 clinger and loves to cuddle and be close! Bucky has the softest fur, and would love to be pet constantly.  Bucky is house-trained and very energetic, so he would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard. He knows sit, down, place, and “put ‘r there” (shake).  Bucky has lived with children younger than 8 and has done well with them, but would most likely do best with older children or no children, as he can be a bit anxious with new people. He would love to have a dog friend his age because he is very playful and might enjoy a friend who can keep up with him. He would also do well in a home as the only pet, because he loves to be the center of attention! Bucky is also used to having his people work from home, so he would do well in a home where he is not left alone too often.   Bucky is a member of our Keep Them Home program.August 20, 2025, 5:07 pm

Story
Meet Minnie! She is an 8 year old lab mix.  This sweet, lazy gal is looking for a new home to call her own. She does well with other dogs, but may prefer to be the only pup in her new home. Minnie's play style can be a little rowdy for some dogs.  Minnie loves short walks and following you around the house. If you're looking for a chill, older lady, Minnie may be your match!   Minnie is a member of our Keep Them Home program. November 19, 2025, 3:58 pm
