Size

Not good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Sammy is an amazing lab mix who would make a great dog for an individual or a family with older kids. His favorite things are playing fetch and chewing a bone on the couch. He is five years old, up-to-date on shots, and very healthy. Sammy is crate trained, house trained, and loves learning new tricks. However he struggles with some leash reactivity around other dogs. He can be a bit exuberant when meeting new people but quickly settles when played with. Sammy is a very loyal dog and is being rehomed through no fault of his own. It breaks my heart to do but he is too much around our infant son and so not getting the attention or exercise he deserves. He would do great in a family with older kids or someone with no kids, We really want him to go to the right home so the fee could be waived if we felt it was the right person. Sammy comes with his crate, toys, leash, bowls, and food.

Suka is a joyful, 2‑year‑old spayed Lab/Husky mix with a heart as soft as her beautiful fur. Weighing in at about 40 pounds, she’s the perfect medium-sized companion — big enough for outdoor fun, small enough for couch cuddles. She is social with other dogs but cat skills are unknown.

We are looking for a loving family or couple that will give her an active life and a good loving home. She lives for food- she on a high protein diet food as she is very active dog- loves to walk and runs. She has a perky cute personality. We are looking for a family that will take her out and has space for her to be free to run and play ( she loves to play with people and fetch) please she’s is not meant to be enclosed and coil up inside. She’s meant to be someone companion who can give her time and because she's a Husky mix she has separation anxiety hence she cannot be left alone.

Story
Duke Lord (Duke) was surrendered due to the owners not having enough time to spend with him as their careers and family began to grow. However, when Duke Lord was at home he spent around 12 hours indoors per day in his old home and lets others know when he needs to go potty with little whines at the door. Duke has never had an accident in the home and had free rein of anywhere at home including on furniture. He`s been described to be a friendly couch potato who`s playful and affectionate with everyone but can be a little shy with visitors. Duke Lord is a very active boy who`d enjoy lots of hiking and adventures-- and would be a great fit for someone who could be home more often as Duke Lord has become a bit anxious being left alone and with no enrichment for long periods of time. Duke Lord knows sit, come, stay, treat, leave it and has said to be a big cuddle bug in bed! At his previous home he did live with a family and did great with everyone, including older children. Duke has not lived with or met cats and has said to do okay with other dogs.

Story
Mowgli is a big blocky-headed goofball with a personality that keeps everyone smiling. Most of the time he’s a pretty quiet guy, but every now and then he blesses us with some dramatic little howly moments that are impossible not to laugh at. Something we’d expect coming from a husky! He’s the kind of dog who just rolls with whatever life throws his way — happy to be included in the adventure no matter where the road leads. With shelter staff, Mowgli is playful, affectionate, and full of fun energy, so we were surprised to learn that he can be a little shy and standoffish with new people at first. Mowgli is the type of dog whose trust is earned through patience, kind introductions, tasty treats, and shared fun moments. Once you’re in his circle though, you’re really in it — and we know he’ll become an incredibly loyal companion. Mowgli came to us as a stray, so his history is largely unknown. Whatever his past may have looked like, he has proven himself to be a very well-mannered boy. He walks nicely on leash despite his excitement to get outside and explore the world. He also appears to be potty trained and may even be crate trained, as he enjoys having his own cozy space to relax in. This smart boy already knows “sit” and “lay down,” and when asked to do something he doesn’t understand, he responds with the funniest little confusion dance and dramatic huff. It’s honestly one of his best quirks! We think Mowgli would really enjoy continued training. When Mowgli first arrived, we expected him to have a more dominant personality with other dogs, but he’s surprised us once again with his friendly and fairly independent demeanor. He tends to do his own thing and coexist well. We are happy to arrange a dog meet-and-greet prior to adoption if needed! Mowgli is truly one of those dogs who keeps unfolding into something even more wonderful the more you get to know him. If you’re looking for a goofy, loyal, well-mannered best friend with a blocky head and an even bigger heart, Mowgli might just be your guy.
