Precious may not have had the easiest start in life, but you would never know it from her joyful spirit. Before coming to the shelter, she spent most of her life in a home with many other dogs, often having to compete for food and attention. Despite that, Precious has never let her past define her. Today, she’s a happy, wiggly girl who greets each day with a smile and reminds us just how resilient dogs truly are. She absolutely adores people and will happily soak up every scratch, cuddle, and bit of attention you have to offer. Her favorite place is outside, whether she’s lounging in the sunshine, chasing toys, or taking a gentle stroll. Because of her past, Precious has participated in many dog meet-and-greets at the shelter as an effort to get a better idea of her comfort levels! She is polite and friendly with other dogs. Precious enjoys all canine games including a good game of chase, tug or good old fashioned wrestling—she has been doing wonderfully with the dogs in her foster home! We will be requiring a dog meet and greet prior to adopting if there are fellow canine friends in your home! Precious has appeared potty trained in her foster home. It can be difficult to know for certain in a shelter environment, and with a consistent routine in a home, she has been thriving. She already knows the cue “sit,” walks nicely on a leash, and every now and then gets the cutest little zoomies when she’s extra excited! Precious is such a kind-hearted girl. She has missed out on so much already, and now she’s simply looking for someone willing to give her the time, patience, and love she has always deserved. In return, she’ll give you a lifetime of loyalty, gentle companionship, and endless wiggles. We know her brightest days are still ahead—and we can’t wait for the right family to help her write that next chapter.

Bailey is a sweet, active girl with a lot of love and energy to give! Bailey originally lived in a family home, during that time she was said to know sit, down, off, treat, come, drop, as well as fetch! Her favorite toys are rubber ones, and she loves car rides! Bailey was described to be a very active, friendly, playful, girl who`s friendly with visitors but might be a little shy at first with strangers. Since she is still a younger gal, she will still need basic obedience training as she can become a little rambunctious in times of excitement! Due to her behavior, being in a home with smaller children may not be ideal until she learns she`s not as little as she once was. Bailey is said to be good with other dogs, cats, men, and women! Though she has been known to chase small animals outside and has never met any livestock animals.

Hi everyone. This is Odo. We recently adopted him hoping he'd complete the family after our 14 yr lab finally crossed the bridge. Unfortunately, with our young kids, he's not a good fit at the moment. He is a sweetheart in more predictable environment with someone who has trained a dog before. He is smart and picks up training quick. We've seen great improvement in leash training and even the mouthiness that is our main concern. He redirects fairly well but could use some work. On a leash, he's good and improving to great. We walk ~5 miles per day between 3-5 walks (2 long, at least 1 short). He does need consistent mental engagement. He's crate trained. I take him to work with me and put him the crate and walk him a few times per day. He has some separation anxiety, but seems to adjusting everyday and whining and barking in the crate has reduce significantly. He sleeps in his crate and calms quickly. He is not food aggressive either with his food or around human food.
