Story
Apollo was an owner surrender and unfortunately we don’t know the reason why. Apollo has been a little shut down in the shelter, but is appreciative of the time he spends with staff and volunteers! Apollo has been very sweet and seems to have a gentle personality. He can be submissive at times, which can be mistaken as fearful, but Apollo has done well with meeting new people! It is unknown if Apollo has lived with children or other animals. Please be sure to bring your little ones with you when you come to meet him! Small children that may yell, run around him or try to climb on him when first meeting will be overwhelming for Apollo. Apollo has not been reactive towards other dogs in the shelter - he mostly ignores the other dogs and doesn’t appear to be looking for a playmat! Though, he does always have a friendly demeanor when seeing them. We do recommend a dog meet and greet prior to adopting. Apollo has been a very well mannered boy. He is potty trained, walks great on a leash and knows a few basic cues including “sit” and “down”. We believe Apollo may also be crate trained due to how well behaved he is when kenneled! He is pretty mellow, but keep in mind that he does like to get out at least once a day. Apollo loves regular walks and is so happy to be out in the sun!If Apollo sounds like he would be a great fit for your home we would love for you to come by and meet him!

Story
Po is such a good boy. People say that nobody’s perfect, but Po comes pretty darn close! Po is a well socialized young dog who has taken to training well. He is smart and likes to keep his brain and body active! Before arriving to the shelter Po had been taking doggy classes with Find Your Zen Training and reportedly did great! He knows numerous cues including “sit”, “lay down”, “spin”, “touch”, “no” and “come”. Po is also potty trained, crate trained and he walks well on a leash! He was typically crated when left alone in his previous home but was not destructive outside of the crate. Po will be happiest with regular exercise. Having a safe and secure yard of his own would be so great for him! Po has enjoyed many forms of enrichment and different types of toys - we have not tried puzzle toys with him yet but believe he would love them!He loves to go bye bye with his people and is ready to go on any summer time adventures you may go on! Po is friends to all. He is a social butterfly and does great with meeting new people. Po has done well with children and enjoys playing with other dogs. He also has experience with cats and other small critters and was said to do well with them! Po is said to chase livestock though. Even though Po has had great experiences with other animals, introductions should still be taken slowly! We’ve said it before and we will say it again, Po is such a good boy. Everyone adores Po and we know you will too!
