Story
Shadow is currently in a foster home - please call the shelter to schedule an appointment to meet him so we can coordinate with his foster family (:Shadow has been such a gentle soul, a calming presence during his time in the shelter. You’ll be as shocked as we were when we found out that Shadow was surrendered due to being destructive when left alone. Shadow has spent the last few weeks in a foster home, and fosters have not seen any destructive behaviors - even when left alone! Luckily, he has remained on his best behavior as he does not enjoy being crated! We like to describe Shadow as a young 11. For 11 years old he sure is spry and always ready to have a good time. He loves going out on walks and will never shy away from a game of tug-o-war. Seeing his goofy side will certainly put a smile on your face. Shadow is looking for a cooler and more collected lifestyle. Don`t get us wrong, regular exercise is great, but it would be so nice for him if he could come home after a walk and snuggle up with his person. Shadow is a pretty easy guy. He is potty trained, walks great on a leash and knows the cues “sit”, “shake”, “drop” and “down’. Shadow has done well with children but can be a little intimidated with rough housing. This is one of the reasons why we imagine him being happiest with a calmer lifestyle. Though we have not seen any reactivity towards other dogs in the shelter, his previous owner noted that Shadow does not always get along with other male dogs. He may have a more dominant personality when it comes to other dogs. Tolerable or submissive females would be a better match for Shadow. We will require a dog meet and greet prior to adopting if you have other dogs in your home; just to ensure that Shadow and your dog will be compatible! Shadow lives for attention. Pets, snuggles and butt scratches are some of his favorite things. He is happiest when with his people. He enjoys going on car rides and truly takes the time to enjoy the simple things in life. Shadow has also had the opportunity to stroll through Lowes with his foster family and loves every second of it! Shadow is such an incredible dog. Though we love him, it does hurt our hearts a bit to see that he has not been adopted. As of October 17th, Shadow has been in our care for 79 days.

Story
Ruger is a purebred registered Laborador Retriever that is trained to sit and retrieve balls and birds. He is a fun-loving, people adoring dog, who loves love! He enjoys most to be petted and snuggled with either by kids or adults as he loves them all the same! With our busy family schedule, we do not have the time to devote to Ruger that he needs and deserves, therefore, we have elected to put him up for adoption. It is most important to us for him to go to a good home!

Story
Duke is a young neutered male Lab–Husky mix with the best of both worlds: the Lab’s goofy, affectionate heart and the Husky’s playful, adventurous spirit. Although over a year old, he’s still got that puppy sparkle—curious about everything, quick to learn, and always ready for fun. He is social with other dogs but has had no cat experience that we are aware of. Dog walkers call him Mr. Happy! He gets along with everyone. He weighs 47 pounds.

Story
Meet Tango Richie. A sweet gentle loving teddy bear (he's medium sized but Is a dense 65lb). He's great with kids and other dogs. He is crate and house trained. He does have medium to high energy in spirts. He does great for short runs or at the dog parks, but tuckers out after a hike (like Baldy). We rescued Tango from the shelter at 2 or 3 years of age. He is now 3 or 4 years old. Tango is a loyal, cuddle bug. He would do well with someone who can be home more often or with another home with another dog sibling!
