Story
Koe is going on 2 months at the shelter, but we love how he is always so happy and humble! Koe loves people and is happiest with having some one on one time. He has done great with meeting new people, but sadly he keeps getting overlooked! Koe is an active but polite boy - you may notice that he loves carrying tennis balls but will also always drop them to be thrown again, he tends to jump up when excited, but never on you! Which is something we have appreciated. Koe loves treats and is treat motivated. He is gentle when taking treats and can wait for about 15 seconds before losing interest in sitting for one! Koe will need regular exercise and enrichment. An active home would be best! Though Koe is not known to be an escape artist he may enjoy being able to run in his own fenced yard! Koe is a smart dog who loves to learn. He walks well on a leash and knows many cues including “sit”, “down”, “off”, “come”, “leave it” and he almost has “shake” down! Koe was crate trained and potty trained in his previous home. Please keep in mind that Koe has been in the shelter for a while and will need time to adapt and learn your routine! Koe enjoys playing with other dogs and would enjoy a friend in his new home. We can always provide a dog meet and greet if needed! Koe is easily redirected and a people pleaser, but his playful personality may be too much for kitties. Slow introductions are advised! Koe is outgoing, affectionate, gentle and so so tolerable. We absolutely adore him and want nothing more than for him to find a great home! If Koe sounds like he would be a good fit for your home we encourage you to come and meet him! We know you’ll love him as much as we do.

Story
Apollo was an owner surrender and unfortunately we don’t know the reason why. Apollo has been a little shut down in the shelter, but is appreciative of the time he spends with staff and volunteers! Apollo has been very sweet and seems to have a gentle personality. He can be submissive at times, which can be mistaken as fearful, but Apollo has done well with meeting new people! It is unknown if Apollo has lived with children or other animals. Please be sure to bring your little ones with you when you come to meet him! Small children that may yell, run around him or try to climb on him when first meeting will be overwhelming for Apollo. Apollo has not been reactive towards other dogs in the shelter - he mostly ignores the other dogs and doesn’t appear to be looking for a playmat! Though, he does always have a friendly demeanor when seeing them. We do recommend a dog meet and greet prior to adopting. Apollo has been a very well mannered boy. He is potty trained, walks great on a leash and knows a few basic cues including “sit” and “down”. We believe Apollo may also be crate trained due to how well behaved he is when kenneled! He is pretty mellow, but keep in mind that he does like to get out at least once a day. Apollo loves regular walks and is so happy to be out in the sun!If Apollo sounds like he would be a great fit for your home we would love for you to come by and meet him!

Story
Breaker arrived to the shelter as a stray and was in need of some medical care - now that he is all healed up he is ready to find his forever home! Breaker is a young fella who has a need to burn off some energy. He loves to play and truthfully thinks everything is a game! Breaker will thrive best with regular exercise and enrichment. Breaker has been so happy to meet new people and believes everyone is his best friend. He may come off a little strong when first meeting, but that’s just because he’s excited to meet you! Breaker does mostly well around the other dogs in the shelter, but does seem to antagonize them a bit! We believe he would do best with a tolerable friend that matches his energy and he may possibly do best with a female. We can always accommodate a dog meet and greet prior to adoption and do recommend it! He may not mesh well with small critters due to his energy. Breaker does appear to be mostly potty trained, but please show him grace while he is adapting to his new home! Breaker knows the cue “sit” and is eager to learn more. He would benefit from an owner who is able to continue training! Breaker is a good boy and we would love for you to meet him.
