Story
Smokey is a polite gentleman who is looking for an owner who has the time to shower with love. Smokey is happiest when spending time with his people and would prefer a home that he doesn’t have to spend most of his time alone in. Smokey would benefit from crate training for when he does need to spend time alone as he was known to be destructive at times. Crate training could help Smokey feel safe and secure while his people are away! Overall, Smokey is well mannered. Also, he is friends to all! Smokey is potty trained, he walks well on a leash and knows the cues “sit”, “down”, “come”, “leave it”, “drop”, “no”, “shake”. He is a people pleaser and just wants to make you happy! Smokey has gotten along with other dogs and has been friendly towards other dogs in the shelter. We can always provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting if needed! Smokey had a cat friend in his previous home, and they got along great. Though this is great news, it is important to keep in mind that introductions should be taken slowly! Smokey does not have a shy bone in his body. He has loved everyone he’s met and does great with children. Though he does have a mellow personality he still enjoys being active. He loves playtime with squeaky toys and taking nice walks! Smokey is such a good boy. If you feel that your home would be a good fit for Smokey, we would love for you to meet him!

Story
Finn is a neutered male chocolate 1 year old retriever mix who is learning what is means to be a canine companion. He came to us via the Animal Care and Control hoarding case so everything is new - walking on a leash, learning to play and meeting new people. Everyday there are steps of progress and his tail is wagging in his eyes are bright! He has a very sweet and gentle spirit and will continue to blossom with the love and patience of a kind human.

Story
Kaiser is a very playful, very sweet and loving 3 year old dog! He is extremely intelligent and very protective. He loves attention, long walks, treats, and listening to music. I acquired Kaiser from a nice family that was PCSing to a new state. He lived with a female dog and got along well with the dog and kids however, I have an 11 year old male dog that he does not get along with. I would suggest him being in a home with bigger dogs if any and if male or be in a home with female dogs if any. Feel free to text with any questions! 337-509-7467
