Story
Meet Nube who is looking for a home. Nube is a 4.5 year old mixed breed, full grown at a perfect 45 lbs. We think she may be a lab cross, with a gorgeous white coat, and beautiful markings to round out her unique look. She shares space with other dogs and enjoys playtime in the yard with them. Nube is friendly and affectionate with shelter visitors with a lovely disposition. She is medium energy - with enough energy to keep up, but would also be grateful for some chill time to make up for missed cuddles. Mostly she would love her very own family. Nube hasn't been tested extensively with cats. She sees them without reacting, but for now, we will seek a home without cats to be sure. While Nube is lovely with people, she's not been specifically tested with kids. Nube is spayed and vaccinated. She is missing some of her front teeth - likely a result of escaping shackles or surviving on street scraps. If you think you might be a fit for this beauty, as her chance at a forever home, or as a foster along the way, she'd love to hear from you at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com

Story
8 year old Yesenia is a lab x boxer looking for a home. Yesenia was surviving when kind strangers might feed her, but had to be a strong resilient girl. They suspect she may have been used for breeding and was subjected to having her tail docked. When they no longer wanted her they just left her to fend for herself. Yesenia reads people well and likes to be comforted by them. Yesenia prefers male dogs and isn’t a fan of cats. She is spayed and vaccinated, weighing a perfect 45 lbs. If you think you might be Yesenia’s second chance as a foster or adopter, she’d love to hear from you by emailing us at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com or going direct to our application: https://forms.office.com/r/b1Fkq3u4zw. Story
Cozy is a girl who is learning that the world isn't such a scary place after all. She's currently working on building her confidence and does best when she's allowed to take things slow and move at her own pace. With patience, understanding, and lots of positive reinforcement, Cozy shows just how loving she can be. Busy, high-energy environments can be overwhelming for her, so Cozy would thrive in a calm, predictable home with adopters who are happy to let her set the timeline. Once she feels safe, she enjoys gentle companionship and quiet moments with her people. Continued confidence-building and positive experiences will help this lovely girl blossom into her best self.If you're looking for a soft soul to support as she grows braver every day, Cozy may be the perfect match for you. Story
Chanel is a sweet, soulful girl with a big love for two things: food and her people. Treats are the way to her heart, and she already knows "sit" and "paw" - especially if snacks are involved! She's a smart cookie who enjoys learning and thrives with gentle encouragement (and maybe a tasty reward or two).Chanel can be fearful of strangers and new situations. She'll need a patient, understanding home that will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. Trust isn't given away quickly - but once you're in her inner circle, you're in for life. When Chanel decides you're part of her club, it's nothing but tail wags, soft eyes, and endless snuggles ahead. One of the best ways to help Chanel shine is with another confident dog friend. Being around other dogs boosts her confidence and helps her feel more secure in the world. If you have a resident pup, bring them along to meet her - they just might become fast friends!Ready to join Chanel's club and give her the forever home she deserves? Come meet her and fall in love today! Primary Color: Blonde Weight: 31.5 Age: 3yrs 2mths 0wks
