Story
Moses is the sweetest buddy! He loves to play tug and will bring you his toy when he wants to play. He likes de-stuffing toys and chewing on bones and balls. He loves to be with his people, and just wants to be in the same room. He sleeps on a dog bed in the bedroom, or on the couch in the living room. He knows sit, paw, and speak! I think he would make a great therapy dog, visiting people in hospitals and nursing homes, if anyone wants to train him for that. He is such a lover! He’s so happy whenever someone gets home, he gets along with dogs of all sizes, and he might possibly learn to get along with cats if someone wanted to work on that. He is fully housebroken and he takes his VF meds like a champ in a bit of wet food.

Story
The `Tokyo dog statue` refers to the famous bronze statue of Hachiko, an Akita dog known for his unwavering loyalty, located outside the Shibuya train station. After his owner passed away, Hachiko continued to wait for him at the station every day for the next decade, becoming a national symbol of loyalty. The statue serves as a popular meeting point, and its location has a dedicated exit called the `Hachiko Exit.` We can offer you one better than a bronze statue of a faithful dog- we’d love to introduce you to very good boy, Tokyo! Warm and snuggly, flesh and bone, much better to snuggle than a cold metal statue! His volunteer friends love spending time with this goofy boy, sharing:“Tokyo is a quirky and fun dog who loves his time outside of the kennel. He’s always eager to go to a play yard with his kennelmate and enjoys exploring and stretching his legs. Tokyo is young and energetic and I think will thrive in an active home where he can go on plenty of adventures. He needs a little bit of help feeling brave and comfortable with new people, but his curious and friendly personality is always on display. He loves to play a game of “catch me if you can” when it’s time to go back to his kennel, running as close as possible to me, looking at me with a big grin on his face, and dashing away before I can pick up his leash. He`s a goofball who will bring a lot of joy to someone’s life!” Tokyo is a playful pup who shares his kennel politely and has been easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’s dreaming of a family who will give him plenty of opportunities to play and build his confidence in a new environment. If you’re looking for a pup to keep you laughing, we think Tokyo could be your boy! Come meet him today!

Story
Looking for a bubbly, bouncy buddy to keep you company on all of life’s adventures? Look no further!! Jalen is ten tons of fun in a fiftyish pound sack of sweetness! He’s full of puppy energy and enthusiasm and he LOVES his people! Jalen was found as stray and during his short stay with his finder he was playful with their dogs. Jalen is a typical puppy who will thrive with enrichment, exercise and guidance from his family. Here’s what some of his volunteer friends have said:“First time meeting Jalen. He was bouncy in his kennel and was a polite, curious walker who wanted to explore. I sat down and he climbed onto my lap with front feet and gave me lots of kisses.”“I walked Jalen for the first time tonight and found him to be friendly and easy to leash, with lots of puppy energy. He allowed handling all over and seemed to enjoy it very much.”Jalen shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been playful and social when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’s looking for a home with a secure yard and a family who will spoil him like he deserves. Ask to meet Jalen today!!

Story
Kingi is a handsome guy who first came to PACC back in late 2021 after his person became too ill to care for him. He was adopted in 2022 but now is sadly back in the shelter once again several years later. Kingi is not only handsome, but friendly and outgoing too! At the slightly mature age of seven, he’s past the puppy shenanigans and is just an easygoing, pleasant companion who enjoys attention from his people. Here’s what one volunteer said:`Kingi really is a nice boy. He doesn`t mind attention--I can pet and massage him and he`s okay with it. His coat is very soft, and he doesn`t shed much.` Kingi has lived with other dogs and shares his kennel with another PACC pup. He’s been social when meeting other dogs in playgroup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. If you’re looking for an easygoing and mellow companion, please ask to meet Kingi today!!
